It's not very fun, and there is very little payout... so mostly it is a waste of time to be dropped into a game that is just about to end. Perhaps give a minimum amount of SP to a player if the game ends say, 3 minutes after they enter the game?
Or allow us to pick games to enter, and see how much time is left?
I've had several games in a row where I entered less than a minute before the game ended. |

You're right it isn't any fun...here's a chart I made for my ppl so you can at least know when it's rolled over to a new match loading so you end up on a war barge instead of having 2 mins to go.
1 - 0 2 - 24 3 - 48 4 - 72 5 - 96 6 - 120 7 - 144 8 - 168 9 - 192 10 - 216 11 - 240 12 - 264 13 - 288 14 - 312 15 - 336 16 - 360 17 - 384 18 - 408 19 - 432 20 - 456 21 - 480 22 - 504 |

I'm afraid that there is not enough information given, for those numbers to make any sense. |

Of course there is...column one is match number, column two is the total player count when that match number starts to fill...watch the numbers for when it rolls into a new match, join...easy. |

The fact that you had to explain it, means there wasn't enough information. I can't read your mind, sorry.
You're still going to have to explain it a little further, maybe explain how you came to these conclusions, why those specific numbers... I assume it has something to do with the maximum player count in a match... but I am not sure how that is a proper gauge for how long a match has been going... so is that chart meant to show me when a match has filled and a new one has just begun...? Or what? |

If I Iook at a skirmish match and see that there are 458 ppl playing I know I'll end up in a war barge=brand new, full match. If you are repeatedly playing most of the night without prolonged menu breaks and hop right back in to a match then you probably wouldn't have to check again. You'ld be in a full match cycle probably all night. |

It would be wise to put some kind of block on games that have under 20% of the time left in the match from allowing new players. (less than 20% shield on the skirmish, and less than 20% of lives left on the ambush). |

I just joined a game with 19 current games and 432 players... and the game started just after I joined, and it was a fresh game... Your chart has the number 18-432...
18 - 448 just joined after, and I am in a War Barge... so exactly what numbers are supposed to be the ones where the match will be in progress/almost over...?
17- 399, War Barge
3 - 58, In progress, but just barely.
1 - 24, Game froze... woo |

That seems to be a poor solution, because it's a slippery slope for the losing team. Better to provide better reward/incentive for players joining late in the match. |
