You people need to build tanks, cause your light posts are indestructible! They even damage my tank! Nothing like trying to get out of the fight and repair only to run in to a ******* rock solid light pole that apparently is made out of some really next level ****.
Get rid of light posts or make them (easily) destructible. This is stupid. |

I just don't understand how any developer can claim to be dedicated to producing a balanced game and include such horrendously overpowered assets.

Just because the guy on the other team is spamming light posts doesnt mean they are OP you idiot.
Some guy dies a couple times to a enemy using light posts and they immediaetly cry nerf on the forums, im sick of it.
Light posts are NOT OP, however i would like to see a limit on how many light posts each corporation can put on the field at one time, or increase the prices so commanders cant just call them in all day. |

I hate light posts. Sometimes, when I zoomed in on the sniper scope, I catch a vague figure in the corner of the screen. But no, it was just the head of the light post. |

The E3 video showed deployable turrets. Clearly what we need are deployable lamp posts. Just picture it, an army of deployment vehicles dropping posts all over.
Something else to consider...they might actually be futuristic anti-tank mines. They should be available for our equipment slot...just drop one in the middle of the road. The enemy drivers will never see it coming. Gotta give it a skill requirement equivalent to the power though. Mechanics 5 maybe. |

those lamp posts do need nerfed. At least make them so they don't jump up and hit my drop ship when I fly by.

yeah, happens sometimes. i usually am trying all kinds of crazy fitting for my tanks so i can tell my corp what does and doesnt work...
i can honestly say that i have only dies three times to a militia swarm launcher in my surya:
#1 - surya fitted with three of those light chassis speed boost things...doesnt work
#2 - surya fitted with all shield stuffs(basically a sagaris fit on a surya).....doesnt work
#3 - ******* stole my tank when i switched into one of my turrets cause my gunner couldnt hit a dropship if it parked right in front of him and my railgun was overheated from firing at another tank and blowing it the **** up. he takes my driver seat, tells me i suck, them proceeds to get us killed and loses my 350k in about 20 seconds...
i remember each of those cause i was really pissed and laughing really hard.
there might have been a fourth time, but i can promise you i have never died to a militia swarm in my "best" fitting while i was driving...
go ahead, take your pick of any of those, cause one of em was definitely you then
edit: what i was trying to say is about 1/4 of all the times i die are from some idiot driving my tank into death when i switch to a turret real fast...guess what i dont do anymore if i dont have friends gunning for me lol |

I think the Crane is the father of the Lightpost.. I can be flying along in my dropship and fail to skim over that thing, and blam.. I'm tipped sideways and the thing doesn't even budge.
