Hello All. I just stared the Beta last night and I have to say I am impressed with what I've seen so far. I got into my first Skirmish last night and got my feet wet as far as some of the game mechanics. I was wondering how ammunition is purchased, is there a way of getting more ammo in battle, and finally how long will the Beta be running? I was thinking about purchasing the Mercenary Pack but if the Beta is ending soon, don't want to waste the money for the All Access Pass if it ends in a week or two. |

Ammunition is free, I believe you 'buy it' with the cost of your gun. You can get more ammo by upgrading you Heavy/Light/Sidearm capacity skill. Dust beta will be running until the full game (end of the year). You will also be pleased to know that all purchases will be reimbursed upon the full release of the game meaning that you will get the merc pack in both the beta and the full game at no extra charge. |

Ammo comes with the gun, nanohives can replenish your ammo during a match. no the beta is not ending soon, and even then the merc pack is worth about $30 anyway for what you get in it |

You don't have to buy ammo (not yet, anyway. Maybe later?).
Get to a Supply Depot (they're the "broken" triangle icons on the map) to refill your ammo, or use a Nanohive (which are placed by players). If your team has any good Logistics players, or anyone fitted for a support role, there are usually at least a couple of Nanohives around the map.
Next build of the beta is coming out next month, and we still have to test it. If the beta ends soon, i'll be surprised. But the Merc Pack is MUCH more about the extra gear you get than about the beta access anyway - although it's a nice bonus. |

Recycle symbol is a broken triangle. And it looks more like the Abstergo logo on my TV. |

Alright. It's silly fighting over the wording for an icon more than 2 posts. Let's just end it by saying red is bad and blue is good. If it's red, go hack it! |

i really like the idea of "ammunition part of price for gun"
You could turn it easily into: "Every gun we manufacture comes with a lifetime support of free ammunition *wink*" You get it? Lifetime free ammunition because. . . oh well whatever. . . |

Because when you die, they stop giving you more free ammo? And you're an immortal clone, so you can afford to die lots, but have to replace your gun every time because the nanites keep eating your stuff? |

It could fabricate new furniture every time I come home. Then I'd be bad mouthing it for being silly. |

Even though you're cloning yourself, getting somewhat immortal, you still die. You die fairly often. It would make more of a financial loss if you'd sold the ammunition separately instead of adding a flat amount on the gun and provide the gun with free ammunition. Since the gun is lost once you die, you have to buy another gun with the added flat ammo price on top of it and lifetime free ammunition. |

if ammo is ever brought into this game, I'm going to assume it will be ME1 style. Where it's something you equip once to alter the damage and range or something like that. but it's not ammo in the traditional eve sense.
You can buy the militia nanhive off of the marketplace and equip it to one of your ulitiy slots. When deployed standing in the bubble will give you and team mates ammo back. As an added bonus, when your team mates use your nanohive, you will be rewarded with skill points!
There is also a skill that will increase max ammo carried.
and finally the beta is going to keep on running. Some time next august a major update is coming, I'm pretty sure it's going to change 50% of the game, so that's exciting. merc pack will let you play every weekend instead of just beta events, which from what I've seen will be easy to get into. But if you still want to play the super early beta just for fun untill then *like me* buy your self the merc pack.
Oh and don't use that 30 day booster, use the AUR you get to buy 3 day skill boosters since the beta is only up for 3 days at a time at the moment. |

If there's no ammo to buy, I'm guessing I just messed something up when trying to fit my charge sniper rifle. Got into the fight, and the silly thing refused to shoot anything or anyone. I had to run back to refit with my basic militia gear. Very embarassing.
Is this a known problem? Is there a simple fix? Did I just mess it up?
