If you're using militia gear, get out of it as soon as possible. it's the lowest level gear in the game. just getting to the first level of normal equipment you will see a big difference in survive-ability. Now you will start paying re-stock fees on that normal equipment, but at the lower levels, you should be able to keep up with restocking them so long as you're not dying 100 times a game. I was amazed at the difference it made.
Also, use the fact that you're a Logi to your advantage. Case in point - you have an armor repair module and really fast shield repair. So don't take someone head on. use cover to your advantage. I can usually empty 30 rounds, cover, reload, and by the time i finish reloading, my shields are already at 100%, and my armor is repairing. meanwhile, the other guys still sitting low on armor / shields since theirs don't auto-repair.
Nono-hives and reapir tools are your friends. Nano-hives repair armor and reloads ammo (plus you get some SP for people using them). And the repair tools can repair armor AND vehicles. |

The syringe issue will be addressed in the new build in August. There will be a mandatory 8-second wait timer on suicides; as well there will be visual notifications of a downed player and when a Logi is near them to revive em.
As far as uplink spots, you want to place one that is in an area is in-conspicuous yet not in some far off corner of the world. Uplinks should be placed close enough to said "objective" but not iin an obvious open spot. The longer it stays hidden, the better.
And as far as worrying about wasting resources, Logi's have to play it smart. They don't have the armor like assaults, and they aren't fast like Scouts. So you gotta use your advantages. Get out the Militia gear for a few rounds, and you will see a difference; plus you look cooler
I typically don't use more than 10 Logi suits in a battle (skirmish) and the payout I get usually always covers any re-stocking fee's plus some. and the higher the players equipment in a battle, the more ISK you get, so militia gear gives you the lowest ISK |

Yeah, so if everybody is wearing Militia gear, you get less ISK than if everyone is wearing the highest level gear (Prototype). the amount of ISK you get is relative to the types of gear everyone is wearing in battle. |
