Well ccp frame said there would be 3 new maps today after downtime, its now after downtime and I'm not seeing anything other than biomass ambush (which we already knew about as we've had it for a while now, so by rights that shouldn't even be part of the 'we have 3 new maps' announcement) I just hope they are NEW maps and not variations of plateaus, I would like biomass skirmish back

Clarification please CCP. Wouldn't it have been easier to announce "Asia" servers up Thursday instead of 3 "new" (probably not the right term, btw) maps and get everyone's hopes up?

The two maps still being worked on are probably Craterlake Biomass/Communication Skirmish

3 new maps lol, thanks ccp for the 3 new maps,the ones we have had for weeks already. adding asian versions of existing maps is not adding anything new , good to see yours treating your player bass with respect and honesty.
im sure the asian players will be happy, great for them, yet the rest of are stuck with the crap , we have been sick of for weeks.

If it should be that convoluted, it should be "After Thursdays uptime", which could, if one were a little mental, drunk, stoned and ******** at the same time, mean Friday.

It would appear that this was either a misinformed post on the part of one of the developers, or another case of time zone confusion, but I think its pretty ******* clear the team did not wake up today and say "how can we troll the testers today?"

Well. I see the 3 new maps really meant that they were opening the Asia servers finally. WOW, I feel betrayed, lied to, and have been given a really bad hand job from a crack hooker.

Listen CCP, I am not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, but I also don't like being lied to. 3 new maps, when you say it, means that. 3 new servers is a whole hell of a lot different than that.

This is not to say that I am not thankful for the addition of Biomass on the ambush end, but I was HOPING for ANOTHER Skirmish map. TBQH, I am SICK of playing Plateaus.

So if you are going to release new maps, release new maps, not new servers calling it a new map. AND FYI, Biomass DOESN'T count.

This is just another example of why the blind ccp fanboys need to wake up when they scream to protect CCP from the various criticisms brought up about the game. Most of the criticisms are legit.

Except, game isnt delivered yet. I'll join you into screaming if at release the game still doesnt offer what it promessed.
But, as there is close to nothing in the beta from the very exciting stuff i expect (planetary conquest, orbital bombardment, corporation management and alliance, player based economics, commander role, meaningfull battles in 0.0 and FW), it wouldnt be faire to judge now.

So, calm down. it's as much ridiculous to torch devs at this moment than it is to say the game is perfect as it is. Personnaly, i find the FPS mechanics pretty satisfaying providing a good pack of quite small adjustments.

I'm not talking about release. I'm talking about individual instances. This one in particular being the announcement of 3 new maps to be released after PSN downtime. Now CCP says 2 are still being worked on, so only one new map is released... and that "new" map isn't even new.

read one of the posts above. It's got a link to a dev tweet, stating 2maps are WIP.

And i also think they meant 3 new battle servers instead of maps.

Calm down peeps its not worth fighting over it, we all disappointed for not getting a new maps but there is nothing we can do about it.
My advice don't treat this beta as game to enjoy and get yourself excited about new things just test > give your feedback > wait for the next build and so on.
