This will be change battlefield much.
At last make ONE map and get feedback from ppl that fight there.
No easy game here.
You use wapon here.. learn how.
Duck, cower, run.. and always think about teammates and onslef...
You drop grenade at your feet? Fine ... respawn
You shot teammate because line of sight? Fine...
Roadkill? 
Tank shoot walls and kill own mates.. fine
Dropship spwan-kill at respwan.. fine kill own ppl too...
All problems that ppl 'whine' now will disapear when ppl take responsibility and NOT ONLY FIRE.
At last clone limit is for something.

I really like the idea of FF in Dust, but until I am in an actual corp with tard-slapping recruitment policies, I think it would just cause anger and frustration as six-year-olds with attitude and a bag full of shotguns teamkill the fun out of New Eden.
Still though, 100% FF would be glorious... |

AWOXers in FiS, so why not on planets? Definitely bring it.
But need more corp management tools, and remove the ability to see the PSNetwork account the Dust character is connected to...backstabbing alts and corp security ftw. |

I feel this should wait till we have a more reliable way to indicate friendlys at distances. Otherwise im for it. |

I agree. I think FF should be on, or at the very least turn it on for all explosives.

I disagree. By turning it on now, it would give CCP more data and more "incentive" to fix spotting, draw distances, and IFF.

what would the penalty be for ff? Lost isk? Lost SP? A ticked off teammate with revenge on his mind?
This is realistic, but man would it be counterproductive until you implement some EVE style protections to keep the open abuse to a minimum.
This request could also be yet another thinly veiled complaint about vehicles and rockets and such also.. hmm. AR's for everyone! ;) Splash damage should be banned by NATO! |

Right now, there would be little or no recourse, but as time goes by, you will start to weed out the players who do it because they lack functioning brain cells. Yes, you will still have the griefers, you will still have the "expert FPSers in all games", and accidents, but you would als have a lot of incentive for CCP to fix the issue, which IMHO should be a very high priority.
Watching someone throw a grenade into a spawn point with one hostile and 6 of his teammates without any of his teammates taking any damage is seriously broken. Watching a tank fire a missile3 meters into that same spawn point with those same six teammates taking zero damage is seriously broken.
In the last build people cried and whined so much about the Swarm launcher's splash / explosive damage that CCP nerfed said damage, instead of fixing the kitten problem. Now we have people throwing REs / grenades, etc at their teammates and exploiting the fact that CCP chose to follow the same broken recipe that hundreds of other "realistic" FPS followed.

Not to be difficult, but like what? Concord? That is the only real protection you have in EVE that we don't have in Dust and even then Concord will do the same thing to you that your teammates will if you kitten them off enough.
