The way SP is gained, can be one-sided at times and not reward players who really are contributing, but not like Mr. Smith whose taking all the objectives / getting a high KDR.
For instance: They may only have a 3/7 KDR, but it's not because they're not contributing. They may be directing people to where those tanks are, sniper spotting, calling in enemy locations / hiding spots, etc... so while they may not be as "actively contributing" as some other players, they are still contributing.
At the end of the match, an option could be given to give someone extra SP (or even ISK) for a job well done. Win or Lose (even in a loss, someone could have still been trying extra hard).
I can already say that: A. You will undoubtedly be able to direct transfer unlimited quantities of ISK between players. That's how it is in EVE, and it would make no sense to deny that to you guys. B. There's no way in hell they're ever going to let you give skillpoints to other players. Think of SP as memories of practicing on a firing range, and you get the general idea. You can't take thing that you've learned and shoot them into your buddy's brain like the Matrix or something. In EVE, the skills we learn are complex enough that they can only be implanted over time. Only reason you can zap them in in Dust is because things like firing a gun and driving an HAV are a -lot- simpler than commanding an entire spacecraft with your brain. |

Besides the fact that yes the whole point of dust is that you can beam things into clones brains (however they are only your own) i totally and completely agree. if you want to give that guy a bonus, pop him some isk[/quote] Well, you're putting stuff into your own head, but you have to have the SP already there to support it, and that's gained through personal experience, which is something you can't just give to someone else. That's what I was going for. |
