Hover Bikes should be added as a vehicle class. Drop ships should allow passengers to handle equipment and fire weapons. Spawn in should have a drop in, like the inverter drop (pressing x while falling). We should be able to sprint instantly from crouch with no need to hit stance button again). Custom controls should be added for the controller, or switch change stance (triangle) with change weapon (R2). If I have two sidearms in my loadout I should be allowed to duel wield them. Vanguard evasive maneuvers should be added, like slide (run + change stance) and roll (hold change stance + direction). Are jetpacks upgrades, or could they be added, or as a vehicle or parachute to dropships. I know their needed for space battles. grenades and other explosives should resupply. |

I rather have a jetpack over a hoverbike, and only one personal vehicle is needed. Jepacks could be equiped on equipment slots, and guns cannot be used while jetpack is active. Jetpacks would be considerably useful for logistics suits, especially for flying past enemies to plant drop uplinks for his team to spawn, or flying to downed players to revive. Jetpacks shouldn't be too fast so others can still shoot them effectively as they shoot running players; this will keep them for being abused as quick escapes.
I agree with drop in spawns. They're fun. Only for default spawn points, and spawning on objectives; CRU's and drop uplinks work differently so it wouldn't make sense for those things.
We will get customizable controls when game releases.
I agree we should be able to sprint instantly from crouch, and I think it will be added since many people have said it before.
I'm not against dual wielding, but it would need to be balanced very carefully. People will hate this idea though because its something CoD did.

Resupplying exposives would lead to exposive spam, and it would be annoying since they are generally 1-hit kills. I don't support this. |

The playstation title MAG is a great example that this game should look to for controls and combat within the map. On the resupply of nades, simply keep the amount you can hold low. Forces the player to return or fall back to resupply points a lot use them often and allows the other team to come back. Also with the nano resupply things, make it the last thing that it will supply. That way again if you want those you'd have to wait longer (or not shoot) to get them. |

If the jetpack required a lot of CPU to use, it might be otherwise. They'd have to sacrifice regeneration, power, or other mods to wear it. And with most users.. they'd just become flimsy easy-to-see targets cause they flop around in the air so much.
Also... swarm launchers might be able to lock onto the jetpacks. xP |

I agree. People are always quick to dismiss ideas without thinking of how they could properly be balanced. |

It would make dual SMGs used so often on a scout loadout, and make the shotgun redundant. As it is, a scout can run up to a heavy, pump a couple of shotgun blasts into him and nearly take him out. I've taken out a heavy, as a heavy, with an SMG before... And that was with him using an AR. 7. Sure, why not. 8. I don't see space battles coming in for DUST mercs anytime soon, or at all. I can see jetpacks being used, maybe, for gas planet battles. However, no for now. 9. Agreed. I find it really annoying when I get to a supply depot and my grenades don't resupply. |

Go to fittings, reselect your current build, and you have grenades again. |

Actually, I use that method every couple of games, but due to the shield display bug, don't use it as often as I should given the roles I play.

Not sure about the hover bikes. Yes, passengers in dropships should be allowed to use equipped weapons/equipment . Only for Drop beacons or random spawns. Clone vats shouldn't have a 'drop in' for logical reasons (the clone is already on the ground, you're just transferring your consciousness into it. Yes, a thousand times yes. Being able to run from crouch is something I consider essential and it's something you'd be able to do in real life. Yes. Allow for full customization of controls. I don't know who designed the current control scheme but it's horrible. Let us change it. This will be especially important once KB & mouse support is added. No. No dual weilding. It's not necessary and only panders to those who want to look like badasses. You're a superhuman immortal soldier, how much more badass do you need? We see a Dust Trooper slide into cover in the 'Future Vision' trailer, so we expect to be able to do it in the game. Jetpacks? No. A Dropsuit module that drastically increases your jump power (height/distance), possibly. You can resupply your grenades from Supply Depots (just re-select your current loadout) This does use up one load of your equipment though. Maybe you should just be more circumspect in your grenade use ;)

Yes to droping in to spawn with inertial dampners, fun way to spawn only downside being if a spawnpoint is inside a building like B in the old biomass skirmish, wich you could spawn from the sky onto the roof, would give a tactical advantage to snipers to take and hold that position. but yeah i really hope they can add it in even if its just for outside spawns. love to see this type of spawning in dust i know a fair few people like the idea of droping in and being able to slightly alter trajectory. |

Let me say this, you want JetPacks go play STARHAWK. JetPacks are horrible items for an FPS. No, No, No, we are going to have Jets, maybe Bombers. And Dropships. That is enough crap flying above me.
Also, no to all this combat roll stuff. Do you really think us, in the military can combat role with all the gear we have on? Because the only time I've seen one of my troops combat roll was after we got hit by an RPG.
Please, stop with these horrible suggestions. |

Hover bikes.. Meh a little silly really. Holding your gun whilst in drop ship - yeah Sprint from crouch - yeah Custom controls.. For me there fine but yeah for others. Duel wielding... No, just no... You can see this game SHOULD be tactical but beta players seem to run around -.- Manuvers like Barrol role.. No.. That'll make it a silly game not revolutionary and awesome Jet packs.. No. Ressuplying grenades - yeah |
