I have been trying to use the sniper role with the scout dropsuit but it just wouldn't work because the scope kept moving and it was too hard to use. Another thing about snipers, I saw the black ops 2 gameplay and the kind of tech that they had completely surpasses what DUST 514 has right now. That really doesn't make much sense considering this is way into the future, further than 2025. |

Crouch by pressing triangle first, then aiming in. And again (sigh), the Electronic Warfare stuff hasnt been implemented yet.

Increase Sniper skills. Crouch. Learn the sway path and compensate.
The first two reduce the amount of sway, the third reduces its impact. |

Playing sniper in this game is really not new player friendly at all. trust me it gets a lot better once you have upgraded the skills with the weapon.
edit: i would also like to add that sniper is a commitment in this game you really need to dedicate money and SP to it. |

cardiac stimulants should have an effect on heart rate allowing the dust player to home in on his heart beat, so as to time a shot between beats. hence negate the adverse sway, could be skill based or ( see below CPS)
it is how i have always used rifles when taking a long shot from prone. after a while it becomes second nature, taking certain heart drugs also has the same effect, slowing down the heart beat and how hard it beats. something ccp could work into the stimulants section.
[CPS]Cardiac pump stimulant, 2% drop in gun sway per level ( stackable effect when used with ******* skill), a stimulat with the power to allow a user to time long range sniping shots between heart beats and stop adverse gun sway.
sway is a fork to control in dust, and the control system is way to buggy. if you drop the controller sensitivity it causes adverse graphical lag ( char acts like it has parkinsons disease and the likes(no offence to anyone suffering from this disease in real life), i have killed once using the sniper rifle and scout.
but for some shizzle and giggle i added a second cardiac booster and found an amazing stamina recharge rate, empty to full in around 10 seconds or less. |

this is an idea that i like and could back up. it would be helpful for lower level snipers but at sniper proficiency 3 scope say becomes a non issue |

or you could just.... crouch and wait like a second and a half and the scope sway goes away completely.
Like, no sway.
At all.
Not even a little bit.
you don't even need any skills or anything, that's just how it works. |
