I would like to see a suit that glides a short distance and then press x to drop. It might fit good on a pilot dropsuit so you eject and glide away from the crashing ship. |

This sounds pretty awesome. Make it a utility slot option. Im sure youll get takers i would use this. And glid until you hit X to do that enersia thing straight down. No reason to fall without doing that enersia thing. |

Yes!!! Pilot suit only. Don't make it a module or equipment, make it integral to the suit.

I don't think it should be Pilot-only, but it should have MASSIVE PG and CPU requirements (as in, players can only bring a Scrambler Pistol with it even on Proto gear), but a MASSIVE reduction to those costs when equipped on a Pilot suit. If someone REALLY wants it on their heavy/Scout, they should be able to, but it should require HUG sacrifices to EVERYTHING else. |

That makes sense. I would even suggest creating a skill at using the glide system... Something like increase glide path by 5% per level, and start the initial glide out at 3m per 1m dropped.
