i think this simply because logistics has very little advantages over assault right now, especially because nano hives and drop uplinks are the only useful things for them right now and assault suits could use either of those... they can only have one weapon and i think thats fair, but they move slower than assault and are more squishy than assault, i think they should just SLIGHTLY have more armor and shields |

Logistics have more resources and slots than Assault. Therefor even though the BASE stats are lower, they have higher potential for more defense if you equip them properly. |

I will say that they look like they should be tougher, considering their bulk, slower speed, and extra-combat role could all be valid arguments for having heavier armor plating or better shields (but the current model is a Minmatar one, so the less armor may just be a racial given). However, having the ability to wield a sidearm will be rather necessary if Repair Tools are to be a light weapon. |

A dev has also stated that Logistics will get a buff to Shield HP to match that of Assaults and get a buff on the Shield recharge rate. |

I agree with the OP. Yes there are extra slots on the logi but some innate class bonuses are in order I think. How can I run around trying to support other when I die just as fast as they do? A ranged med kit would be good too.... |

Logistics = engineer = NOT frontline soldier.
Assault = frontline soldier.
Which do you normally expect to be better armoured?
Logistics suits have their own advantages.
AS armoured, or nearly so, I can see as being a good thing. BETTER armoured, not such a good idea. When they tweak nano-injectors in the next build, we'll see more uses for Logi suits. |

Remember, more armor means a slower soldier, and frontline men have to be fast. Meanwhile, the Medic/Engineer support don't have to push the line, so a slower, more preserving armorsuit would be more prudent. |

Greetings,

I believe that Logi suits are just about right on HP right now. I think their shield needs to be buffed, but their armor needs to be reduced to compensate. Before anyone asks, it is because of the sig radius of the logistics should be a bit higher than Assault. This change would make them a bit harder to kill by AoE attacks but a bit easier to kill by targeted attacks, afterall they are a high value target.

Remember, more armour means less precise movement capabilities, which are kind of important for engineers, medics, etc. - exactly the kind of role Logistics Suits are meant to fill. |

logistics do not carry more high slots than assault so no they can't stack extenders to try and match an assault, and they shouldn't be able to anyway. The logi suit is as many described it, a support role. This is hard to see now because we don't have grouping, but it will have it's useful place soon and the player who chooses to go that role will be sought after, there's your perk. |

untill people slow down hitting the suicide button and there's actually coordinated logi there to revive them, this is mostly a moot point. However I would certainly disagree with more defence for the logi. it's point is to heal, I shudder to think of a trio of spider tanking triage suits with assautl rifles ;) |

What you're asking for will basically just make another assault suit.
I do agree that logistics is pretty useless this build, but they'll get the attention they deserve soonTM enough. |

You can its all in the skills you have train and the modules. the logistics suit has more slots than the heavy suit so you can technically build a better tank on your suit. |

Remember that the Logi suit is far bulkier than the Assault suit making it a larger target and presumably thicker and tougher, and that what passes as Medic and Engineer duties in the world of DUST are jamming a needle into a man randomly and pointing a gun at a structure and letting it do the rest. |
