Asking for more points for it kinda is selfish don't ya think? doing it cause it helps your team isn't insentive enough?

The problem is your essentially rewarding defenders for letting it get hacked in the first place.
I'm pretty sure you get bonus sp and isk for winning the battle anyway. |

I agree with OP cus it takes nearly twice aslong to clear a hack. so it leaves you wide open. |

I would rather have the objective system for those three specific ones to give you extra points for keeping them secured for your team for the longest time possible. That would put pressure on players to keep those things secured in order to get more EXP. Yeah, it'd be nice if somehow there was a timer that gives you points
Either way, the objective is to keep them active (or inactive) in order to keep the MCC from docking (or to allow it to dock) so I guess that should be incentive enough. |

I'm gonna agree with this, although my first reaction was to agree with the poster (I hate to say it, but I come from CoD and BF). If you're letting the base get hacked, you shouldn't be rewarded for your short comings. I'm also going to agree with Kiso Okami, there should be some sort of time reward system for defending the objectives. Say, +50 at 2.5 minutes and 5 minutes, and +100 from there on at 2.5 minute intervals. That might be a nice bonus reward for destroying your enemy. :) |

Agree both with the OP and Kiso Okami, We don't want much, but a little warpoint reward for dehacking important nodes would be nice, the same for guarding a node like you should. Currently all you do is hacking, then looking for the next source of SP/Warpoint income, which leads to unguarded nodes. War should be smart |
