would be cool...no?
heavy armor with an Uber laser but one serious week point...the legs
could be a capital class tank that only the richest of the rich could afford
kinda like the capitals in EVE
could name it the shagohod (russian for step walker)
i know its been used in MGS (the name at least) but you cant copyright a language
and it would be sick as hell to pilot one :)
and make it to where you dont have third person so it makes it a little harder to solo drive |

I don't have any references handy but CCP said that that game will be standard infantry and vehicles only at launch. They are planning on adding Mech like vehicles later on so maybe even spider tanks. Why not.
In any case, we're going to see a lot of very interesting vehicles and gameplay options after the first few months of being open to the public. |

To those of who play EVE the term 'spider tank' has a completely different meaning which would be scary if infantry or vehicles (like the current tanks) could pull off.

When I saw the headline, I thought you were talking about spider tanking. Which I definitely think should happen.
For those who don't know, spider tanking, or spider repping, comes from EVE Online, where ships dedicated to remote repairing others, group up, and mutually remote repair each other throughout the engagement. A proper setup is a beast to kill, and usually is the focus in any engagement, as if you break the spider tank, you break their ability to remain in health. |

you can already do that...i did it in the last build with a corpsmate
the remote rep just dosent activate sometimes |
