I've just come out of a game where I would spawn and die instantly about 99% of the time, the static spawns enabled the opposing team to simply start hacking a point and utilize vehicle weapons (namely the rocket on a tank) to just spam the spawn with rockets and everyone spawning there would pretty much die...
you might say there is a simple solution, spawn elsewhere....that would be nice if they hadn't had about every spawn point camped....
Need more spawn location at spawn sites, not simply one spot to come out of |

Use remote spawns. But yes, spawning is broken at the moment. |

Sadly Droplinks aren't enough once 'the camp' starts. If the other team pushes you back to the default spawn location you're pretty much finished, there's no escape.
I'm not sure why CCP felt they could leave the spawn points so exposed on this map, they weren't anywhere near this vulnerable on the previous map even if they were static and predictable.
They need to push the default spawn locations further back from the opposing team's 'unsafe' line and give them cover via terrain or structures. I don't mind being bottled up in the spawn area, but not surviving more than a second after spawning is 'rage quit' worthy.
Personally, if the other team pushes my team back and starts camping I just refuse to spawn unless the game is going to boot me. I won't give up my isk and sp, but I refuse to feed the other team any more than is necessary to get my rewards. |

I make it a practice to deploy a droplink if I notice my team is getting pushed back from the open spawn points. It doesn't work all the time, but it does most of the time. Just food for thought. |

please feel free to use the search function ccp have kindly gave us. why this you ask? this point has been asked and answered by not only the communty several times now, but ccp officals as well.
but here it goes again.
static spawning is a bug, ccp have already confirmed this a number of times. it should be randomised location within a target location. it is going to be fixed.

So (and let me preface with saying I hate being spawn camped) i have no sympathy here. If you are getting steam-rolled, and this logic fails in beta of course, you need to re-evaluate the corp you are in and who you choose to play with. Spawn camping isnt the team doing it to you's fault, its your teams fault. Again in beta not so much, in live it is on you. |
