This is especially noticeable on the tanks. Your range of motion is determined by which turret you're in, the facing of the main turret, etc. It can significantly slow down aim and reactions when you run into the edges of the range of motion, but might get the angle you need by rotating the other way around.
By indicating the range of motion as a cone on the vehicle hud element, and indicating current facing as a line, we raise situational awareness we'd have in real life significantly.
The main turret's indication could also be greatly improved by keeping the tank indicator stationary, and instead showing a cone for current camera view angle in relation to the tank body (would make it much faster and easier to see current relative positions.) |

I realize this is somewhat off-topic, but I'd also be curious to know why the turret-top secondary turrets can now only fire to the right of where the main turret is facing, where they had full 360 motion before. |

Post that guy to the bug reports, because that can't be intended, as it makes them behave horrifically bad. Even more so since we don't have proper grouping and no one uses comms. Was driving me out of my mind earlier, as we're getting slammed from the left side, and the idiot on the main gun was busy shooting a supply depot. That's right, he was busy shooting something that can't shoot back, and because you can't aim left of the turret, all we had was a small blaster scratching the paint on the tank shooting us. |

Was my intent that it apply to all vehicles, it's just most noticeable, and a larger issue, on tanks. At least with dropships each gunner has nearly 180-¦ range of motion, and can clearly see the body of the vehicle to tell where they are. With tanks, it's a pretty big issue, since it's not as clear, and it depends on far more variables. |
