I might make a full thing on this if people do like the idea and want to hear my big idea behind it because I think it can rely go some were, I like doing pvp, but I also thing some healthier pve stuff in dust 514 would be rely nice to brake up the same fighting over planets and stuff. Also adding choices in path ways in dust is some thing that is also in eve online as well.
(WTB Dust archaeologist <3) Dust Exploration - this is one of the best ideas I've seen on this damn forum - TO THE ORIGINAL POSTER, keep reposting until you get a Dev reponse....although they would need to make a lot of work, I think eventually it could happen, even after 5 or 6 expansions. Remeber, Factional Warfare wasn't in original EVE. Neither was planteray interaction. They can hire me if they want :p I have skills in coding and cisco networking :) I'm also not too bad at art design too lol I was thinking of making a full big post about how they could make it work and ideas behind the system. and try and give them as much ideas and some thing to go from as I could. There you go Jobs available at CCP , take your pick.
I just might now, might try my luck and see what happens :p

totally love this idea, would play all day long. Also for those times when no corp members on or only a couple so would have the option to do some co-op. If you're still increasing SP what a great way to do it! Plus some good swag to find or salvage with a bit of luck. May encourage learning new skills that people would not normally need in everyday pvp. There are just so many different ways to get excited by this idea! |

PVE content in Dust could be some seriously cool stuff. Don't forget, no-where is safe. Once high-value PVE is in place, it should become a magnet for PVP. Some people will want to run sites and make isk (lets call them ratters), some people will be hunting ratters.
Perhaps ratters will want to organize into larger numbers, or even just appear to be focusing on the PVE content with the intention of baiting you into a fight.
PVE should be a good way to make isk, as well as a mechanism that can be used to generate PVP content.

Indeed, and if pve sites are on a limited number of planets, who's to say you wont meet other mercs heading for the same sites, do you fight or join forces? you could end up with three way battles or even more.....oh the possibilites |

I still think it would be pretty funny if when you build a new industrial complex in Null Sec you would have to hire Dust mercs to clear it out first. I'd totally put like 3 mil sp into bulldozer operation/proficiency.

I'd like things like this to be implemented.
Dust is an interesting position, where it has the potential to be one of the best FPS games of all time, and one of the best online multiplayer games.
Of course it still needs work though. |

I imagine some "exploration" missions to find new material / gear / tech, or "mysterious alien derelict" maps carrying new energy and of course...deadly mobs.

That's what I was thinking too, eve online could rely use some deep lore behind new and old races that have lived on these planets. |

Im still thinking this is a good idea. I assume it could very well happen eventually. Im gonna put a link of this in my corps site. Some people may only want to play this way. Another way of earning isk.

Resources interchangable, EvE players need stuff found on planets gathered on missions or retrived from fallen enemies by Dust players, and Dust players need minerals to build their weapon from EvE players,
Market for consumables like grenades, nano hives rockets for swarm missiles etc or skill up get a blueprint and manufacture those yourself? conserve bullets my friends, because you have a limited supply. salvage amunition and weapons (parts if destroyed) , suddenly Supply class would be more needed on the battlefield when you spawn and you have no bullets in your magazines, more variety of meele weapons?
make dust like WoW? and you have a player base unimaginable, just look how many people play CoD and how many play WoW now join those together in one pot, a stew is brewing |

NPC Corp Missions:
You would be able to pick up any level mission from this corp 1 to 5 and start queuing right into the system. The mission would have up to 5+ maps when queuing, so people would not get so bored with the mission. The mission itself is not the main core part to it but the starting point of going into the system. Once you get the mission itGÇÖs rely easy to understand what you need to do, find ancient artifacts.
Once you have joined a group of other dust players you go through these tombs, temples or cityGÇÖs and fight your way to finding some sexy items. After some hard work and killing youGÇÖre At that point itGÇÖs your choice what you can do with it, which opens the paths of things you can do in dust 514.
One: Sell it to the highest bidder you can find
Two: Trade it into the NPC guy that gave you the mission and get some isk and standing with the corp.
Three: Use your skills and try and understand this peace of ancient power and maybe with some luck and skill learn how to build something rely nice from it.
Mission levels
Level 1 mission = Solo (For new comers Level 2 mission = Solo Level 3 mission = Solo (But Geared) Level 4 mission = Group (For Groups of 4 to 5 people) Level 5 mission = Group (For Groups of 4 to 5 people "Geared")
Manufacture and Research This is where lots of new skill books and doors can open for the dust players in the manufacturing area. Been able to build your own Weapons and tech with blue prints you could get from the market or missions can open up a lot of things in the game, this also can grow into tanks as well-meaning a new type of tech for tanks and warfare.
Missions also donGÇÖt just have to give blue prints and tech, they could also go into ore and components as well, the building blocks to making this sweet new tech you want for your merc.
I know some people will say but I only want to do pvp, thatGÇÖs great for you but some people want some choice in the system and also to see new things open for all kinds of players as well.
