One major thing in EVE Combat is the Ammo Type i would love to see if you could buy/skill different kinds of ammunition like Anti Matter or Iron Charge.
It would also a great combination if it changes the weapon range (short more damage, far less damage) and maybe some other stuff too!
Maybe its a little bit to much but hey just an idea! |

good idea but i do think that might make things a little too overwhelming for the non eve players. i know this is ccp and all and we all know the eve cliff, but there aiming this game at consolers who most of whom never played eve.
not saying dumb down at all. just break them a little more gently |

I thought there would be ammo like that, but might be too much for some newer players.
let them try eve out after getting interested in dust, and then they'll be mind blown how much different it is.. |

Personally I tend to load the ammo that I think is going to be best for the battle at hand in EVE, but I have entire cargo holds I can devote to it... In Dust, I don't have a way to choose ammo type in the heat of battle, nor does that ammo type have any real affect until we get the different resists and differential damages in place.
Additionally, there are no skills for different ammo types, nor should there be... But that is a whole other conversation. |
