I apologize if this has already been posted somewhere below. You can flame me for it. I'll take the tongue lashing and hang my head in shame for a few minutes.
I think we should get skill points (50 IMO) for preventing the enemy from uploading a virus. We should also maybe get points (IMO 15) for killing an enemy who is uploading/preventing a virus. We get points for hacking everything else in this game, and we get a bunch of them if we upload the virus ourselves. It doesn't seem right that when we risk our neck by PREVENTING the virus from being uploaded, we get nothing for our trouble. I have actually noticed myself letting the virus get uploaded just so i can get SP for then hacking it afterward. As far as bonus points for killing an enemy uploading or preventing a virus (or bonus points for killing someone who is hacking something) it will be a bonus for the players who actually play tactically and focus on the objective, and don't just run aimlessly through the map (or sit in a tank the entire map). Just a thought, but opinions are like but-holes; everyone has them, and no one wants to hear them. |

i agree with this guy. this should only be done at A-B-C, no supply depots/turrets or what not, that would be pointless.

I usually wait untill the point has finished being hacked, so that when i hack it back its both faster and i get points for it, which is pretty lame of me :( |
