I think it would be great, if wrecks of destroyed vehicles, turrets etc. would stay on battlefield providing aditional cover, obstacles for yet to be destroyed ones, just changing battle enviroment a little.
Of course it would get really tight at some moment [especially on urban maps], so we should be able to get rid them. But shooting guns shouldn't do the trick as there's not much that would blow up in a heap of scrap, so just missiles and other explosives would have effect.
I know that with current vehicle spam it's impossible, for we would be drowned in junk, but when it gets limited? |

I'd love a feature like that, but that would mean introducing object scarring etc, and minor forms of destructible physics, not to mention wrecks = bandwidth in short, esp when the game is this early on
Hopefully in a few patches when they can run the game @ higher capacity they'll listen to your suggestion :D:D |

Greetings,

While I would love to have something like this, for the foreseeable future this would create far too many issues. A simple example is someone would spawn a tank, move it over and destroy it in front of the 'C' control console.... From that point forward that console would be effectively blocked until someone came along with HE to remove it.. Park one or two destroyed dropships on spawn point for 'A' control console, etc. |

I pretty much figured out that it wouldn't be ON the release, but having some more clutter would be nice.
@Asno Masamang: Greetings to you.
Well, if somebody decides to sacrifice his precious tank, then you should either use some granades or call in your own tank/saboteur in.
Despite, I'm not sure about that, because being a sniper doesn't give much chance to pilot anything, but I think it's not so easy to fit a tank between console and that cover-things sticking out of the ground. |

Seems like this would consume a lot more in terms of system resources and introduce more problems. Would be nice if wrecks stayed a little longer, but not by too much. |

OP suggested that only explosives should be able to destroy wrecked vehicles.
It's a good idea, but I don't see it being practical, at least in the current build of the game. |

I would love it if this were implemented. Would indirectly help prevent vehicle spam by clogging major roadways too. I wouldn't have a problem with blocking objectives either, as long as there was a way to remove them somehow, or if infantry could simply climb over them (if they weren't burning).
Probably beyond the scope of release but it would be a cool feature. |

Were we using the old communications map, I would have used objective B, or objective A and C on the old biomass maps. The problem is that people will use these vehicles to create roadblocks, funnels, and choke points which is the part I like. The problem is that any weapon that can be used to "remove" these blockages are weapons that people will abuse to the point they get nerfed, until we are all playing world of tanks because that is the only way to remove them. The recent Swarm Launcher nerf is a perfect example, the weapon is now incapable of being used for this purpose unless you are within 20ish meters of the block... Lasers, blasters, railguns, etc are all incapable of doing the trick and people are already whining about remote explosives, mass drivers, and grenades... That basically leaves missile turrets and artillery.
