You'll probably get whatever beta items the rest of us get, because we are all beta testers, no matter how we got in. EVE have loads of extra bonus for Beta/Collectors etc. I seem to remember a unique shuttle for some sort of collectors edition, i think it had 50m3 cargo. Regardless, I reckon we WILL get something for being such awesome Beta testers :D |

Well the 20 bucks I guess is the mercenary pack included with the closed beta access. This still feels ****** to me though. And yes I think anyone who paid SHOULD get something extra, because we are essentially paying to test their game. In the past testers got payed to test games, this is utter crap.
You would have a valid point, but we didn't HAVE to pay, nobody did. I paid, because I wanted to - I don't care if the Beta sucks, or if I will be addicted forever, I paid, accepted the terms and conditions and agreed to no refunds. You made a conscious decision to put your money towards Beta access, regardless of what rumors were going around about PS+ players. "because we are essentially paying to test their game" - that's not true either, Closed Beta = small numbers. We're lucky CCP gave us the chance to pay to play it (and get DLC) - most closed Beta's are CLOSED, for sake of smaller numbers. |

You sign up for a code to get into the beta.
You pay to get Aurum (which is reset after the beta so you can re-use it in the release version), a bunch of extra items for the game (also given back when they reset the servers on release), and MORE TIME with the beta than people who don't pay.
How are people still not getting that?
You are grossly misinformed - You can pay for Beta acess & DLC if you prefer to get it instantly |

Calling for a close on this topic, all contributors are agreeing that Killface had misunderstood what exactly the payment was for, and that the Beta is work in progress. |

There's no option to pay for ONLY beta access, and there are options to get limited access to the beta without paying. The paid option gives you items worth more than you paid for them, AND gives you more access to the beta than people who didn't pay. The key element being the "worth more than you paid for them" part - you get MORE than your money's worth even without considering the beta access. My mistake then, but yea you are right. Whilst not technically paying for the beta, the merc pack does give you beta as bonus, but the point still stands.
The OP is just raging imo, and I know everyone has my back on that (OP of thread) |
