This is 60,000 years in the future, not the Normandy invasion.
This is correct. The indicator will show up only if your teammates see the enemy. Cant we just use our headsets this makes the game cheap showing where everyone is all the time.
but it doesn't |

the "bullets" are actually hybrid charges half matter half energy for the assault rifles and shotguns the "bullets" from the SMGs are actually filled with small nukes or plasma. they are not ordinary metal slugs anymore. lasers are not implemented currently :)
To be fair the sniper could use a cooler railgun effect. it does kinda feel minmatar. Same with shotgun, it says plasma, but lets make it look like a badass plasma shotgun when fired. |

There are other threads with a lot of references to this discussion so far here and here. This is what I think the consensus is...
- Always mark friendlies - because we have advanced systems that tell us where our mates are an so that if you see someone / thing that is outside someone's sensor range you will know it is an enemy.
- If your sensor skills / modules are good enough and the enemy sensor skills / modules are low enough for them to be detectable at a particular distance -- mark the enemy.
- Some enemy actions make them more visible (reduce their ability to dampen their profile) like firing a weapon.
- If any player can mark an enemy they are marked for all the people on the players team - because we have advanced systems that share that intelligence with the team.
Under these rules the bottom line is "If it's not blue/green you can shoot it."
I also think that in CQC -- where the enemy and your team mates are too close to the the marker chevrons -- the suits should glow slightly red or blue/green so you can stab the bad guys instead of the good guys. |

An enemy will show up for a few seconds occasionally when they spawn as well, even if no one has them in their line of sight. (I believe this is a bug.) |

to clear up the arrows on the players that all of you retards are complaining about, you have obviously NEVER PLAYED EVEONLINE.
Its the same goddamn concept. Also LOOK AT THE SKILLBOOKS ONCE IN A WHILE.
Your suit has a SIGNITURE RADIUS, just like your ship in eve. If your suits sig is within another persons suits sig range it will show where you are because there suits computer detects your suits signiture and vis versa.
you guys are idiots. |
