I agree with the sprinting should cancel the crouch. Only because i'm used to it in other FPS.
now i feel like i'm going to get a reply from someone saying "stop whining and just press Triangle"....can't wait

They are working on it. It's not possible because of a somewhat nasty bug related to these actions canceling each other that they are working on a fix for. Once the bug behind that is fixed, you'll be able to do these actions. Spread the word :) |

In the same vein of control priority, move duck to circle and interact to triangle.
Triangle is out of reach when in combat, and you shouldn't be interacting with something if you're intending on aiming and shooting, however it is very reasonable to want to duck while engaging. |

I would prefer circle be melee and interact R3. R3 for melee seems very clunky. |

Mapable controls are important.
Either way though, Action Groupings are important. Movement > Combat > Tertiary.
Under Movement
Sprinting > Jumping > Crouch
Under Combat
Switch Weapons > Firing > Knife > Reload |
