This game is infuriating for one reason, and one reason only. The lag. I don't mean normal lag. I mean the lag that happens everytime you get into a fire fight. You shoot, but as you're shooting you're feeling like you're attached to rubber bands. I don't get why this happens, but even in vehicles it happens. I lose almost every firefight I'm in due to this problem. Confrontations need to be about skill, not about who can deal with the weird movement/lag/rubberbanding problems better. |

you need to stop playing this, do you truly NOT know what a BETA is?
Do you merely ignore the words written onthe top of the screen for the entire time you are on?
it's not you, it's the new gaming companies who only use beta as "before release" demos,
but seriously man, this is a true blue beta, expect problems, report them once, but stop thinking that this is a full game, |

Actually, shouldn't you report them until they're no longer a problem? Otherwise they'll think they've gone away and do nothing, right?
I'm very much with you on other companies releasing their betas as the finished product though. Infuriating decline in quality in the industry. Very glad to see this one start so early and last so long. |

I know it's a beta. This is the feedback section. I'm giving feedback. I'm a first time poster, so count this as my "post it once".
You guys are so quick to bash me based on my complaint, but it's valid. I know what betas are, and I've been in them many, many, times before now.

No worries.
And it's not like I can't understand their frustration. We're all constantly seeing thread after thread about so many of the same things that it can get on your nerves.
But like they said, this is a beta. The constant repetition of talk about the problems until the problems get resolved is part of that. It's not fun, but it's not supposed to be either. Whether we're invited or bought our way in, it's up to us to slog through the unpleasant parts so that CCP can make this game shine. They've got a fair start already, but a long road ahead, even without the groundbreaking stuff. Our feedback is the grease that keeps the machine moving. :) |

the reason why we bash your post is not because we don't comprehend it, it's because the WAY you posted it, you do not title this as feedback, but instead title it as a demand , its not "theirs a problem with confrontations" its" confrontation NEED to be altered" as such, that rustles our jimmies, furthermore, you state "this game is infuriating" so, you misidentify this as a game, and not a beta, which further contributes to our rash responses.

So... a new thread complaining about this every hour then? Or is once a day enough? I know this was this player's first complaint about it, but it is a very basic problem clearly evident to everyone playing and I'm more than pretty sure another thread had been started about it, if you'd like to check. |

It wasn't clearly evident to everyone. My internet is iffy sometimes. I wasn't sure if it was actually a full on known problem, or if it was just me and a select group. I reported it because I'm in the beta program. The whole point of a beta is to help them fix things by reporting it. That's all I tried to do. |

True. Better use of the search function by most people would be welcome, but that's a hazard you'll deal with anywhere on the internet. Not an excuse, I suppose, but something to consider. And to be fair, it can be really hit or miss since it seems like every person who puts out a problem states it in a different way.
Tobi, aren't you picking nits just a bit there? This is a beta of a game, after all. |

It's not that I'm personally demanding it. It's more or less a suggestion, because obviously it's kinda game breaking. Which is why I sounded harsh, rather than something minor like "I think grenades should potentially have a little less damage". This is an issue that NEEDS fixing.
I acknowledge the fact that this isn't a full game. I just assumed that because they announced it's in open beta, it'd be a little more along than it is. Usually, with MMO's, open beta means its more towards the end of the beta cycle, and would run smoother. I'm SO very sorry that I assumed wrong. |
