I'd like to say the Star Map is the most distracting feature I've ever come across in a video game. I've probably spent 3 or 4 hours just moving from system to system and looking at the individual planets.
That said, would it be possible to add a screenshot function for the Star Map? Some of the planets (especially those celestial bodies with rings) look incredible when silhouetted against the local star. I wouldn't mind having a few shots as the background to my XMB. |

Do you know how to take pictures with the Playstation screenshot function? Press the PS button, go to photos, then there will be an option to take screenshot. Enjoy  |

Just learned that only certain games support the XMB Screenshot function. If it is supported, it would pop-up under photo, like you said. As it stands, no such option is available, it would seem.

Not every game allows this, But its worth checking sometimes. Dirt 3 lets you.

That's a good point, hadn't thought of that. And you should really see the starmap in its full glory in EVE Online. @OP You did check what planet we were on right? If you didn't, its DSS-EZ V in Stain, which is kind of funny to me, because I used to base out of that system. I might even have a PI colony there, which is even funnier. |

The starmap is an awesome function, and yes shows all of the cluster of New Eden.
My EVE character's current home is at Attyn, in Gallente space. |

At the moment we're contractually obliged to retain no screenshots, video, sound or written media from/of/about DUST 514 on any storage device. |
