I play as logistics almost all the time. I like their combination of firepower, survivability, as well as utility. However, when people go down, I have no way of knowing if they immediately suicided, or if they're sticking around for me. There should be some sort of indication (other than the dark green name above their body) that they are still there, and I should rush over. Specifically, some sort of icon on the minimap would be perfect so I could navigate my way over there.
Additionally, people shouldn't be able to suicide immediately after dying. There is just no way that I can revive 90% of the people playling. I know it will get better if there was actually some teamwork going on, but hey.

Definatly, I had packed a set of injectors.. but wound up swapping them because I honestly never had any idea when/where or who to use them on. |

Yeah exactly. I either end up following a player around with my injector out just so i can jab him when he gets killed, or just forgetting it and running with my rifle out because, honestly, switching weapons is such a huge pain. I'm in the middle of a firefight and I want to revive a teammate? Oh there's your nano hive, oh there's your rifle, oh there's your injector finally. Oh crap he suicided. ok let's switch back to rifle. Crap it skipped over the rifle and ... oh i'm dead now. |

Aye, I myself don't play medic, but when I go down and I'm surrounded by teammates, i'd at least expect one of them would have been able to revive me, especially after all the matches I've played...and yet...I've not yet been revived, not even once. Knowing that teammates are away that you're down and waiting will go a long way in keeping people from pressing O right away. |

The way most FPS implemented this "respawn" system was that they cut off any player commands for 5 seconds to give other players a chance to aid the down player in coming back to health in their current location so they could keep the fight going. Dust, on the other and, current system implements a 10-second re-spawn timer for most situations.
My solution for this would be to split the re-spawn timer into two parts. 5 seconds of no player commands to give logistics a chance at being able to come back to life, and then a 5 second timer for players to re-spawn. 5 seconds is usually more than enough for player to think over their strategy in in their next session. And they have time to cancel their respawn if they wish to change. |

Yep. I've made it a point now to bleed out, rather than hit O, and hope that a logibro notices my body on the ground and manages to revive me. So far I've managed it once and that was purely by accident as I was changing back to a gun and had the injector out when a heavy went down in front of me.
Having an icon appear on a downed teammate would make it much easier to identify a player for logi's to get back up and running again. |

Another thing I noticed is that the action for reviving takes a bit, probably a good 3 seconds. Your teammate was just there and got gunned down, you have to get there to revive him. Enemies lay you out in half a second because you're just crouched there injecting the person. This is also kinda problematic. |
