For higher leveled drop suits for later in the game. right now we only have only one skill book per suit. Which fine for where the game is now. But when higher trier suits come out (teir 2,3,4,and 5 standard armor) We are going to need drop suit master/ advanced drop suit skills in order to be able to use them.
imagine what the requirements would be like for a Tier 3 proto suit would be like. |

Tech 2 you mean?
Tech 2 suits would be interesting suits that are overspecialization of certain tasks while tech 1 remains generically good.
Dont worry when we get to tech 2 level of gear the skill books with them will come as well.
Tech 2 are however not racial so one thing has to happen first, racial symetry. |

Greetings,
Jin J'Rayle wrote:The "Tengu" dropsuit! While I would love to see my Tengu or my beloved Proteus as a dropsuit, I would much rather see the existing suits balanced out racially and get the skill ranks adjusted properly... And for the love of all that is holy make the levels in the existing suit skills mean something. As a long time EVE player I look at dropsuit skills and wonder why are there no modifiers for skill levels like we have in EVE.

Yeah that's right. How come there isn't modifiers for dropsuit levels. Maybe they'll add that as more racial dropsuits are made available? One could only hope. |

This. A thousand times this. I made a thread in the before time about how suit II was a dead skill (they made Tech II since) and how level III was only good for the AURUM gear. It'd be nice to have less pure 'unlock' skills. |

Based on what we are seeing right now the Tech II gear should compare well with best prototype gear but will have extra skills that boost their effective values over what tech 1 can do...

Ah, thanks for that. I can barely muster the patience to read the numbers on my low def display, I just saw a two and ran with it. Speaking of, the IIs are nice sidegrades, obvious flaws and strengths over the base. |
