Please allow us to do this. It just feels unnecessarily restrictive having to run off to cover and THEN reload before being able to get back in to the fight.
Please. |

I accidentally hit sprint twice during that time where I had to actually perform a reload 3 times before I was able to fire. If not for a friendly, I would of not survived. Some would say in that instance there is a problem with the game while others for that same instance would say I need more skill with the controls. For that instance, I am leaning toward the latter.
I know what you are saying, But i believe that restricting the player from performing actions which are very much possible in real life for the sake of balance, is a bit lazy.
It just seems wrong to not be able to sprint and reload. Its just frustrating. Especially when you have already tried to reload several times, Haha. |

Time to start the debate again: I argue that you don't have the hand/eye coordination to reload AND be in a full sprint at the same time. If you're able to reload, then you're not really in a FULL sprint, you're just running. IMO, I think asking for the ability to reload while sprinting IS A BIT LAZY.
Asking for this is lazy? What?
Its not a debate, Its very much possible. Especially seeing as this is the future and everything! |

Its not a debate, Its very much possible. Especially seeing as this is the future and everything! I'm not doubting that it's possible to reload while running. I'm saying that you shouldn't be able to go full sprint. The act of sprinting requires your arms to help you keep balance while trying to go full speed. If your hands are occupied doing other actions then it's not focused on the actions needed to keep you at speed. If you want to be able to hit the reload button after you've gone into sprint, fine. But your speed should be reduced as a result. As for asking for this kind of game mechanic as being LAZY. To me it sounds like you want this game to be made easy for you. That's what I meant.
No, You couldnt be more wrong. I dont want the game made easier. Sprinting and reloading would not change the difficulty at all, It would just eliminate some un-needed frustration.

Basically, you're asking for this game mechanic to make it easier to shoot back at your opponent, by allowing you to reload while sprinting.
No, Not to make it easier, But just so we can get back to the fight quicker.
There have been a couple of times where both me and an enemy have ran out of ammo and flap about like idiots trying to hide so we can reload.
Its just more convenient, It adds nothing to make it easier or harder. |
