I already discussed that in the following thread and no one was interested: https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=139444#post139444 Here's the exact quote:
Quote:1.) Anti-Theft Vehicle Modules - I only have three examples of an anti-theft module so far. The first is a booby trap where if the vehicle starts to be hacked by an enemy, it self destructs with splash damage. Second, an anti-hack where the vehicle is unable to be hacked but is left defenseless when unmanned. Third, imprint where only the purchaser can drive the vehicle even among friendlies and even when hacked (have to be hacked back though). |

Quote:I haven't tested this yet but I heard from another player that the owner of a vehicle can force people out of their seats. If you board a vehicle you can cycle through all the seats and anyone else gets moved. That sounds cool for the driver but not the occupants. I know the owner should take priority but such an action could make a vehicle a sitting duck until the owner gets to their wanted position. I still would like to see the vehicle modules above to at least be acknowledged by a dev. |

Quote:you made the decision to get out live with it adapt or die herp derp
I can't believe this is an edited response. Makes me wonder what the original message was. Seriously, I would appreciate actual feedback as other actual contributors here would. The "adapt or die" nonsense is annoying and not helpful at all. If you disagree, please state such with an opinion of why you disagree; not too hard although it takes a bit more effort than simple griefing. ;) |

Hard to pick up sarcasm via text if you don't know the person. I am not sure if I should see that as a compliment or insult being assumed to be an EVE'er. ;)
Back to subject, on the actual battlefields of today, the soldiers do not own the vehicles their driving. I imagine if they did, they would REQUIRE the keys. That is what is happening here; the soldiers own the vehicles they are using so what is wrong with asking for some sort of security. It is kind of rediculous afterall that there is shielding and cloaking technology available yet their is not the technology to simply secure a vehicle. |
