I've been running into alot of Dust players on other games recently, mostly For Honor. I saw Xero-thebig-boss on For Honor (PS4) a few months ago, we actually became friends and have been playing together quite a bit since. I got into a rivalry with an Orochi player in a few tournaments named Rikuto-San. I had a hunch and asked him, turns out I was right, it was Himiko Kuronaga.
Just today I saw a post on reddit. I don't play For Honor on the PC, but I saw a gif someone made from it. Guess who I spotted?
Jehuty. A great Dust 514 player that somehow remember despite never meeting, only fighting against on the occasion.
Any of you have these chance encounters?

For Honor was fun for a while but I had a lot of connectivity issues and ended up setting it down. |

Yeah I put that game on the back burner personally, been having a blast on F13 thought the reddit drama is making the game seem less appealing lately

Fun fact , Since BF1 now has Corps / Platoons etc . We run into each other all the time......=ƒÖä=ƒÖä=ƒñö=ƒñö....... they are making a good game even better each time on BF1......its starting to feel like the Dust514 community a bit since Corps/ Platoons were introduced.....

A tad off topic but I picked up For Honor at release and stop playing after a week. I was kind of irritated with the fact randoms on my team would not even attempt to work as a team and in battle there was a ton more pushing than slashing/hitting. It seemed like another great concept that was ruined due to online D-bags.
Probably would have helped if I had more than one friend that picked it up. The friend that had it quit playing after only a couple days as "it was nothing like what he expected it to be".

I ran into a DUST 514 player at work... but I think she was a bit of a Blueberry.
Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

I had some Dust players I played Warframe with frequently in the early days.
Hoping I can get some Dust players to hop on Paladins with me at some point as well.
Feel free to add "Gildenlock" to your PS4 friend list if you haven't already.
Other games include Titanfall 2, Dark Souls 2, and a wide variety of free to plays. Still streaming on twitch and occasionally youtube.

If I was a fan of Dust 514, I keep a close eye on both Star Citizen (PC) and Elite Dangerous on PS4. I frequently play Elite Dangerous and it very much reminds me of a culmination of Dust 514 as well as the EvE Universe, in a Sim like manner.

I remember the day I was playing with Xero on For Honor and he mentioned he had seen you. I ended up playing with Skel and other FA folks and didn't end up playing with him again.
Himiko was taking money from babies at some for honor tournaments. I quit the game because zerker and keeper spam on ps4 was giving me cancer and I didn't want to join in.
I play league mostly now.

I once encountered DJINN loki while patrolling the Dreadnought in Destiny.
Played a Destiny crucible match against Shayz one time. He was wearing FA tags at the time.
Most of the players that I've met since Dust never heard of it.

I've met lol killz, zatara, djinn kujo, vrain matari, caoticfox, B1ack Ice, Complex Doom1995, Viktor Hadah, Sergeant gumball, Nextdark knight, Stupid Blueberry, Immortal war Hero, and I wish I could meet a lot more of the dust player base. I wish I had and maybe someday will an Avenue to get to know everyone who took part in the game.
Those met were either in Destiny or Eve. I dropped Destiny one month into its release. I noticed it was going to be an endless grind of completely pointless gear. I had very little fun with it.
Eve has been interesting in that I have never been a pc gamer. I mean like I'm really awful. But I can see that there is currently a real opportunity in that game to turn the tables. If I can help to make that game a little better as far as player atmosphere I will do it.
Anyways I miss you guys and genuinely wonder how everyone is doing. I think I will attend next years fan fest so that I might be able to meet some of you. I'm gonna make a T-Shirt or something with my stats email and character name so you can Identify me as a Dust player.

I've ran into some dust and eve guys playing world of tanks. That's about the only game i play now. I met take of hose on there man can he be a hot head lol. They were starting up a ae clan on the wot forums and i put tp > ae just saying lol best of luck. Well ill just say we ain't friend no more :( but if anyone want to and me my psn id is madmax_1980_

yeah i saw stb was smashing elder scrolls upon release saw bunch of them in planetside 2 and bunch of us play arc survival i still run necro in eve taking dust players

Been playing battlefield 1, battlefield 4 and battlefront all on the ps4 lately.
Must have seen 2 dozen dust 514 names already.
Even seen a few dust 514 parties as well.
Its cool to see other dust players in the same battle as me once again, even better on the same team, teabag until the recognize you works every time :)
