 Could dual wield weapons (with the exception of snipers)?
 
 With a penalty to accuracy and reload speed, in exchange for more fire power, it would give the Vanguard class more of a definition to them rather than "a heavy assault with two light slots".
 
 Thoughts?

 Seems like way too much of a spike in DPS (even with some losses from accuracy and such) to balance.

 I'm sure if you make it have extreme recoil, moving the reticule up and shaking it as insanely as the ACR did, it should be fine, it effectively nerfs the range, and could give birth to a great tactic where you keep yourself at a long range when engaging duel-wielders.

 Commando were just fine, dual primary weapon allowed for some really awesome and flexible fits that no other class would really do the same way.

 Well the dual-wielding would be just for close range assassinations, if you get ambushed by a shotty scout for example, and you had time to respond to him, you can end him easily, right? That's the idea.

 Anywho, I think about this mechanic like the ol' Burst HMG where you could get an insane amount of damage but for a limited time. As it is right now, they'll just be slower Assaults with a bigger hitbox and an extra light in exchange for sidearm.
 
 Perhaps dual wielding would decrease the range of the weapon and decrease both weapons by 25% in power to accommodate the increase in hell spewing.
 
 If done right, I think the commandos would have an actual place in the battlefield rather than "just another assault". After all, in Dust, Commandos were only used for shits&giggles-¬ and AV...

Since you're in a commando suit, now you can both punch harder and jump higher!
 
 Unfortunately I don't believe myofibs will be the same as they were in Dust.
