I do wonder which CCP team(s) are working on finalizing Sparc. In any case, I am surprised CCP made an official announcement for one of their games this close to Fanfest 2017. CCP's decisions have always been like declared acts of God though; seemingly senseless and without logical reason.

I think the more appropriate question is "Why are you trying to provide Suggestions and Feedback for a game you've barely seen?". To me, CCP Shanghai obviously have a planned design for Project Nova they are rolling with as they have not provided any info since last April for anyone to respond to. Furthermore, Project Nova could have drastically changed from what we've seen at Fanfest 2016 so why bother with any speculation at all at this point?

Alena Asakura wrote:Dust is gone. We will never see it again. Whether Nova is a thing or not it will not be Dust, ported to another platform, reborn. If/when Nova ever comes out, it will be a pale cut-down version of Dust at best, and likely not to attract my attention for very long.
RIP Nova?
RIP Dust! Maybe all who still come to the DUST forum truly feel this way; no matter if Project Nova releases or not, it will never be what DUST was. Kind of sad. Hopefully, this doesn't cut into Pokey's boundless optimism any.

No matter how good Project Nova is, players will still have to put up with CCP. I still remember the long silences the first quarter of every year during DUST which brought the most frustration I've ever had as a gamer. CCP can cater to gamers continually giving updates and info when and only when they think there is enough players worth doing so. And I think we can all agree that is not a way to launch a new product yet CCP still seems to be following their same old playbook (at least in respect to their FPS titles).
