I'm psychic, the day I get a feeling to check back on this place is the day we get comments from Logibro. Not that it even means anything. Seems weird for a Nova to still be a prototype at this point, feels like by now it should of either been canned or green lit. Oh well, I'll check back in 6 months.

To me, the term prototype is more a perspective of CCP than the level at which a game functions.
Consider Dust was technically a fully released game when we all knew playing it that it was closer to a beta.
If the game is green lit tomorrow the game doesn't suddenly go from caterpillar to butterfly.
I think the only thing to gather from this, to me, is that Nova is still being worked on, and that it has not been officially green lit as far as public knowledge is concerned. Extrapolating anything else is just the same guess work we have been doing.

I think the reason we got the "Prototype" comment was due to the posts immediately following the "We're working on it" that are saying "Nova's a thing"!. I think the Devs are going to be extremely careful with what they say to us, even if it requires a little misdirection. Agreed. And once they say "we're working on it" & "Nova's a thing", people take it as 100%, Nova will definitely be released. It's still early days folks. I check in here maybe every 2wks or more hoping to see some news, but i don't get my hopes up too much. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, life goes on. Don't get me wrong, i loved our broken Dust, i spent a lot of time on it, but if it's consigned to the history books like a lot of games, i won't be too disappointed. I've been gaming for near 30yrs & seen a lot of games fall by the wayside.

Why would they? Dust was a fantastic game but it was coded really badly and would be easier to just start from scratch. Hence project Nova.
