If I were to guess, I'd say it'll be mentioned, but very, very briefly and no useful information will be provided.

Well since Draxus asked. I can confirm with certainty that maybe for sure it's a possibility.

It's 2 weeks away, just wanna know :/ CCP LogicLoop says they have a plan. So, if presenting something at EVE Vegas is part of the plan, then we will see something about Nova at EVE Vegas. If presenting something at EVE Vegas is not part of the plan, then we won't.
Unfortunately CCP LogicLoop is not at liberty to tell us what is in the plan.

I bet not as I heard EVE Vegas was originally started as an EVE Online player made convention that CCP eventually got involved with. As was originally made for EVE players by EVE players, I doubt CCP will want to step on any toes there (especially as they have made alot of EVE players not that happy over the last year or so). I could be wrong though (but doubt it ).

I think it's fairly unlikely. The main focus will likely be on Valkyrie since that just recently launched (today I think) on PS VR. And honestly that's fine, they're going to pimp the products that are going to make them money immediately and the Valkyrie team did a great job so they deserve the limelight.
Don't worry though gents, we will have our moment in due time.

I'd give it 50/1 odds that Nova isn't on the docket.
I would say not a damn chance, but you never quite know. Usually as soon as I couch something in an absolute statement I am shortly thereafter proven wrong when it depends upon the decisions of other people.
Hmmmmmm.

No solid news but the CPM and Devs talk about active development of the game. LogicLoop has posted a few sketches and whatnot on Twitter as well. Also Shanghai has been actively hiring more people to work on the game.

They only had Nova at Fanfest because development was running ahead of schedule and they actually had a working demo build available in time. They did not originally plan to show it at FanFest. (Yes, I realize I am contradicting my earlier statement about them following a plan.)
About the only change that Nova would be at EVE Vagus would be if they had finished a stage of work adding more EVE feel to the game and they wanted to get a new round of player feedback.

Because that's not how marketing works. When a production company is working on a movie, do they give constant updates and footage of exactly what they've been working on every step of the way?
No. They tend to get most of it done then as they're starting to finish, they release a couple trailers leading up to the release and then you get the finished product.
Why is everyone so quick to convince themselves that no progress has been made? It's irrational.

I agree. When you look at Blizzard's Overwatch, that game was likely to be mostly finished by the time Blizzard first announced it.

Well, no one says they have to be a "traditional game developer", and I just so happen to have an example of another game developer that is breaking that traditional mentality and doing just fine with making their new game! https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/?page_id=29385 oh and can't forget they have raised over 10mil us dollars to make the game with kick starter and other events in the development process with the dev's working closely with the community to build a game the community wants and not as much what they think the customer wants!
$10,383,172 Raised <-- Game hasn't even been put on selfs yet! 186,344 New Britannians <-- game backers, and it's still in alpha
Should think about this new way of thinking CCP, have any VP spots open, more than happy to help!

I'm not disagreeing that I would like a more transparent development process. However the way they're handling it is not outside industry norms, so people really should not be so quick to jump to worst case scenario.
