I keep thinking when I'm playing the game in my dreams, 'Oh hey, guess they didn't shut the servers down after all!'
Then I wake up.

I'm still having dreams.
Last night I was running about the Gallente Research Facility. I had my Nova Knives and my CR. Except I wasn't in my Minja. It was me.
I was happy. So happy...

I dreamt I loaded up DUST as I always did, only to have realise on the login screen that I had forgotten it had shut down.
I also dreamt that the door in my merc quarters finally opened. It led to this huge MCC construction site. There was also a robotic puppy with red eyes roaming around.
What do these dreams mean?

I had another dream last night. Again I was in the Gal Research Facility. I had my Nova Knives, but I was in this skin-tight bodysuit. Members of my family were on the opposing team. My aunt was a Sentinel with a HMG, and she was just inside the point where you enter the actual building that has the two circular buildings with the open top on both the right and left. I ran in and started stabbing her, but it took forever because I only had Militia Nova Knives. She grabbed me by my suit and I cut the fabric to free myself, then I sprinted out the building whilst she complimented me on how intelligent I was for doing that. 
Then I was back again on the same map, but I was Sasuke Uchiha. Very very strange. Then my dream shifted to where I was playing inside this Naruto game.

Had a dream I was on the ice planet Hoth from Star Wars fighting off Darth Vader and legions of clones with a blue Laser Rifle and an LAV turret.
Still think of DUST pretty much daily.

I had a dream last night where CCP switched DUST back on. Nearly all my fittings were gone but I still had an intact Minmando fitting. I was playing Dom on the king of the hill map where if you called a dropship in and set up on top you were pretty much guaranteed to win, before they changed it so that you could jump straight out of the MCC onto the rails to get up there. I killed a filmsy Gal Scout with two bursts of my Combat Rifle due to how much damage my Minmando could do. I could feel myself waking up but I desperately tried to prolong the dream. It was so nice.

Last night I had a dream that the Devs had decided to flip DUST back on. However, budget was tight so they said they could either only have lighting or sound, not both. For some reason I voted for sound, which is odd considering I always used to play on mute listening to music.

Had another dream that they decided to turn DUST back on. It was very realistic, felt 100% like I was really playing. The game was a little buggy though, weapons were appearing in equipment slots and the equipment I was carrying changed whilst I was deployed.

Last night I had the most vivid DUST dream I've ever had.
I dreamt I was on Line Harvest playing Skirm, starting from the north side. None of us were wearing dropsuits. The graphics were amazing. I was running in at the start of the match and I screamed to my old buddy, Gunman Stylze, who was running next to me, 'It's so realistic!' I was overjoyed, almost on the verge of tears by the beauty of it. In all of my DUST dreams I'm convinced that it really is real and that the devs flipped the servers back on, but am always disappointed when I wake up.This time I shouted 'Is this really real?' And I was convinced it was. We carried on running across the map until we were standing on the pipes at the south of the map. Then, Gunman Stylze deliberately jumped off the pipes. I watched him fall (he was like a ragdoll) then hit the ground. A pool of blood formed around his head. Then I woke up.
All these dreams have had me thinking about philosophy lately. In every dream I have, I am convinced it's real until I wake up. So I've been considering the dream argument, the suggestion that what we believe to be reality may in fact be a dream on the grounds that our senses are insufficient for distinguishing truth from reality, just as in a dream our senses tell us it is real even though it isn't. I find it so fascinating.
It seems like I have a DUST dream every 1-2 weeks. I'm going to be practicing some methods to induce lucid dreaming in preparation for the next one. I've had 2 lucid dreams before - one of which was induced - and I think I'll be able to induce a third one due to the regularity of my DUST dreams.
