Mighty was he whose greatness knew no bounds,
Whose boots offered green Gallentean gleam,
Whose path deterred by no trifling wounds,
Whose Matari gloves would hungrily teem
With insatiable desire to dispense
The hoards and swarms of Rail Rifle rounds
And Scrambler shots, a flurry sure intense,
To silence the jesters and fools and clowns.
Those who tolerated his delight must
Have certes laughed as they laid him in DUST
Oh noble hero, what became of you?
Your spirit had never before quivered,
But for such an abominable coup
We don't blame your life force for the shiver.
Oh fie, oh fie, oh woe, woe and woe;
Such a tragedy ne'er predicted,
Ne'er foresawn. By your resounding 'No!',
Dragons would stare in awe, for selected
Are those who are optimistic by Gods,
Yet even they can't bear the wrath of Mods
Sweet hero, whose head surrounded by a wreath
Of brilliant, fragrant purple thistle!
Undeniable is the painful grief
Of lovers, but these we give dismissal,
For from your ashes springs bountiful life,
Or perhaps a celestial surge of light
Promising rebirth, free of laggy strife.
Noble hero, restored shall be your might.
Even bees, the little almsmen of spring-bowers,
Know there is richest juice in poison-flowers.
Just something I banged out in about 45 mins in the Ottava Rima stanza structure. I've been reading the works of John Keats in my Literature class, which I think has influenced this poem. I've added a little nod to him at the end, with the last two lines taken directly from his poem Lamia.
And yes, I did rhyme 'bounds' with 'wounds' (pronounce it as 'wownds'), 'rounds' with 'clowns', 'quivered' with 'shiver', and 'predicted' with 'selected'. I've learnt that in poetry, you can be a little lenient with the pronunciation. 
You know, I quite enjoyed writing that. I might write some more poetry.

Soft as a marshmallow
Was his waifu love pillow.
Radiant Pancake
Had such a backache
His arse had been breached
After his black rights speech.
Written in clerihew form (rhyme scheme A-A-B-B). The point of it is to poke fun at a famous person. Anyone wanna do me?

With a final wheeze and cough, the dank tomb
Shut, and every thought in my mind darkness,
Would mercilessly and quickly consume.
For me, there would be no sweet katharsis,
and void of all else, came rushing in seawater,
thudding against my ears like my own heart
pounded away in my chest, a slaughter
of my sense of self, tearing me apart.
Tell me, what number of tissues ply four
Will dry up such a torrential downpour?
This time, the tears were pure; they weren't salty
but they flowed freely, as I was taunted:
'The servers will be up again shortly.'
My once-proud Merc Quarters are now haunted,
And I imagine on Heimatar V,
The confused spirit of Dreis there resides
Cutting the mercless, dusty air with knives;
He would find naught on Manus Peak's hillsides.
There were none to hear his agonised cries
When he learnt the sun would no longer rise.

Thank you very much for publicising my work I liked your dramatic reading
I am sorry to tell you though that my name is pronounced 'Drays'. It's a very common mistake to make though. I really like the spelling of my name now, but I might have to change it in Nova... Maybe it's actually my spelling that's dodgy after all! 
I now worry that some of the more subtler meanings of the poems might have gone over some people's heads, so if there is demand (to convince me that the forums aren't yet dead) I will post annotations.
