I realised that the hardest thing in dust is... Compensating for the lag. Really. How the aiming (at least mouse aiming) is way different withing compounds. How the movement you'd expect to result in a certain action on screen does something else or nothing at all. And how aiming is SO different from other games. I wish the good people of CCP working for Project Nove get that right, as it's a HUGE part in game expecience and (re)starting the player career. Sour level over 9000. It almost never ends, there has only been one time in this game's history that something hasn't been overpowered, around the time Project Legion was announced and Gallente Assault was balanced. But they had to ruin it with jump mods and buffing explosives. The only way to ever stay on top of flavor of the month in this game was to use the forums and predict CCP's next move. That's not how a game should be played. We were the quality assurance testers for CCP. Now they're going to take what we did for them and get it wrong again on Nova. The hardest thing about DUST is loving the game but hating the company. Whatever happened to DS the Drunk Heavy anyway?
