So I was stylin' with Noc yesterday in his FINE tank. We noticed that all of the friendly vehicles didn't get a marker until we were much closer. I don't know what happened, but either the range needs to be increased so we can tell from much greater distances or vehicles should get priority markers when within your line of sight

Agreed. We should be able to easily identify all friendlies at long ranges. Good thing I'm a crappy marksman because I was shooting all the wrong people last night. |

Dude, tell me about it. I was shooting friendly heavies and couldn't figure out why I wasn't killing them |

I agree with this actually. Given how there is no difference between the two teams aesthetically, we need some way to tell if a vehicle is friendly or hostile from a farther distance.
Lore wise, they have a much greater signature. |

All friendlies should be registered with the local friendly "TacNet" or whatever the lore is calling it. If I see movement and it isn't tagged then it should be fair game.
At least until we have to shoot around civilians. |

Agreed, and this doesnt just apply to vehicles either, I find the draw(render) distance for most things relatively short range, as a sniper.. that makes my game riskier since I either cant see the things I should be shooting or the fof indicator isnt there causing friendly fire incidents. |

Is there friendly fire? I found that while driving a HAV that many times I would get shot at by my own teammates in turrets. I also found myself shooting at a guy running only to find out after about 1-2 secs of firing that he was a teammate. Friendlies should show up as blue chevrons as soon as they are in your field of view IMHO. |

Not always, and not at all ranges. |
