I feel like a lot of people were just hanging around specifically for the Fanfest announcement and now that that is done and Dust is very near its shutdown point a lot of people will be spreading out to various places to pass the time until we have any clue on a release date for whatever Project Nova ultimately ends up getting named.
It may have been one heck of a roller coaster ride from CCP and there may be some amazingly toxic elements in this community, including myself at times, but all in all it was a great community and I really hope CCP is able to do something in a proper amount of time to keep people from fading off into new games and forgetting they exist.
So o7 to everyone and hopefully we will be seeing you around in NotLegion. |

I'm still of the opinion once fanfest is over the devs here will be given a greenlight (or bluelight?) to post some additional information to us. At least that's my hope.
The CPM seem to know quite a bit more than we do, as expected of those behind the NDA wall, but the fact that they seem to know something means that we have a good chance of finding out here before the forums shut down.
That or I am blindly optimistic.

They seem to be banking a lot on player feedback from Fanfest so I do not imagine there being much more to say after fanfest. Sure they will likely make their presence known and answer a few questions but if they follow the same path that Valkyrie took we should see a nice little chunk of silence before they announce some sort of Alpha stage. I have no problem with this as it definitely seems to have done very well for Valkyrie but it still translates to a poor transition from Dust to NotLegion.
Even tho this will lead to player loss from people dying out once we have silence + no dust to gripe about it seems to be on a pretty acceptable path. |

Like Rattati said, the game will still have multiple "pass/fail tests" it has to pass in order to not just be killed immediately by CCP higher-ups.
We need to make sure we get on top of this **** and spread the good word as much as possible once the Alpha drops. We also need to make sure to just ******* drown CCP Shanghai in feedback about absolutely everything at all times.

I would be surprised and very annoyed if they didn't say anything after fanfest.

They have not even done a sticky to ensure everyone got any type of uniform info and they are already letting rumors run wild thanks to some slightly conflicting statements so nothing will surprise me. There has even been plenty of well formed player made posts that were full of info that someone could have taken 2 minutes to sticky and blue tag but that has not even happened.
Obviously there is a failure of communication and PR already happening to a small extent. |

I expect they will recap fanfest AFTER fanfest, in the meantime, lets hope the playerbase can keep us informed.
