I think it's interesting that it seems to be a further step away from EVE:Online as far as gameplay. Eve physically is very easy to play even in PVP situations, but the fittings and the forthought about what you fly and why and when do you attack or retreat is perhaps the most important thing in the game besides the meta. This does seem a little dumbed down to me compared to DUST and I wonder what hardcore EVE vets will think about that. The importance of how you level and how you fit your suits is one of the things that kept me in DUST. I feel I'm always progressing kind of like my eternal clone solider(always learning and gaining experience always in a position to try something new). Will this new game have that or will it be focused on drawing from COD, BF4, and Halo? A lot I was suspecting to happen apearently is, and I hope to deal with it in a future response video but I want time to digest all the information.

Yeah there is a reason EVE has survived for 12 years and part of it was that people were willing to invest in a long term progressive experience not a quick thrill.

A lot of people are waiting to see what will become DUST 2.0 and I do hope they learned something from it though I am concerned with the direction they look to be taking early on. BUT, if it's going to truly be free to play I plan on playing though I'm not a big fan of PC gaming and tend to game on a laptop which is a whole nother subject. Plus a fps to me should be a controller style game as key n mouse moves in an awkward way in my experience unlike the more natural analog stick controller. Of course I have thought for a long time our space mercs move way too fast to be in these heavy metal suits and should move a little jerkily. If VR is the future of CCP games as they seem to be hinting at that is the direction they are taking it will need to be a smooth performance unlike what we have put up with in DUST.

CCP Rattati wrote:hate to break it to you but I am just a pretty serious person. Didn't help that I got really sick the night before and could hardly speak, still quite bad as a matter of fact. I knew the game played well because I am an fps player. Appreciate the concern though I hope to start my new series on how to build a better FPSMMO but this youtube channel is new and I just got a capture card. I know your atleast part of the way established in your directions for this game but I think there is potential to make something great or something great in the future. As a video game player for 35 years I own around a hundred games just on PS3 alone and already about 25 PS4 games and over 900days of consecutive logins on DUST so let us just say I care about the subject. I plan on a honest response to all the fanfest information on Project Nova in the next week. Needless to say I have quite a few ideas on the subject but I will not hide my opinions and thoughts on the matter. I still remember the "Rougewedding" and I continue to play Dust not to support CCP games but honestly to spite it sometimes but if you guys make a great game and show the desire and intelligence to change why wouldn't I play Nova? But you must be brave, smart, and have a vision. And remember you don't just build games you build community connecting people around the world. I would rush home to help in PCs night after night because my friends and my corp meant something to me more than just a game and now I have my own district with just me and I feel I accomplished my goals here I just wish I had an experience that would continue for 12 years like EVE. Give us a game like that and the money will come.

Can you really have a lot of vehicles when the battle is taking place inside a ship? I would like to see that in some citadel areas and on the outside hull of ships in a hull breach game mode with assault dropships flying in space and landing rover tanks on the hull as well(maybe a dynamic where you have to pilot in a tank with a RDV ad the RDVs could become heavy assualt dropships). Also want Mechs to be a part of the game both inside and outside the hull of ships ans citadels.
