I seem to have crossed a threshold - I just got hatemail, and not for being a noob, but for going 10/0 in a battle. That wasn't the highest kills for the battle, nor even the highest kills for zero deaths, but I guess someone thought it was unreasonable. The mail was simple. F*** you. Bich. lol they couldn't even spell "b!tch" correctly.
Ah well, I guess I'm finally learning how to use these CalAss ck.0 suits. Amazing how good they are if you don't try to make them do things they're not designed for... ;) |

Yes, that decloaking sound is a dead giveaway. Many is the time I've managed to do a 180, beating a hasty retreat backwards while unloading my MAGSEC into whoever the "unlucky" SOB was at the time.
Of course there are plenty of times they got me, too, usually because I can't run backwards fast enough, but at least I knew they were there. :)

Well, yeah, it does. I personally like the scout myself, but the fem CalAss is pretty shapely.
As for what it's designed for, it's more what it's NOT designed for that's important - CQC. I have a tendency to race in with suicide runs, taking out as many of the enemy as I can in my red-and-black redback-coloured Kaalakiota skinned assault, sometimes even a scout. Do that in a non-BPO suit and you soon start to realise how expensive it can be... :) |

The Assault ck.0 is made for long to medium range suppression from high ground and behind cover.
Unfortunately, I only run Caldari, so I have to try to make the suits do everything, including CQC. I've learnt the hard way that it's best to do CQC in a BPO fit.... |
