I seem to have crossed a threshold - I just got hatemail, and not for being a noob, but for going 10/0 in a battle. That wasn't the highest kills for the battle, nor even the highest kills for zero deaths, but I guess someone thought it was unreasonable. The mail was simple. F*** you. Bich. lol they couldn't even spell "b!tch" correctly.
Ah well, I guess I'm finally learning how to use these CalAss ck.0 suits. Amazing how good they are if you don't try to make them do things they're not designed for... ;) |

I love hate mail, being a member of FA, you tend to get a lot. My favorite claimed that I could make my heavy cloak. He said he was going to report me and get me kicked from the game. Funny.

Lol I got hatemail for killing some guy with an RE whilst I was in my Amarr Light Frame ak.0 and he was using a Commando ck.0.

My most recent hatemail involved calling me "lucky" in addition to some naughty words.
Like, I heard this dude decloak so I 180'd and PLC'd him. Fair game, right? Some Scouts be gettin' too cocky with their cloak/shotgun fits. 1.8 was a long time ago, brah.

The Assault ck.0 is made for long to medium range suppression from high ground and behind cover.

Yes, that decloaking sound is a dead giveaway. Many is the time I've managed to do a 180, beating a hasty retreat backwards while unloading my MAGSEC into whoever the "unlucky" SOB was at the time.
Of course there are plenty of times they got me, too, usually because I can't run backwards fast enough, but at least I knew they were there. :)

Well, yeah, it does. I personally like the scout myself, but the fem CalAss is pretty shapely.
As for what it's designed for, it's more what it's NOT designed for that's important - CQC. I have a tendency to race in with suicide runs, taking out as many of the enemy as I can in my red-and-black redback-coloured Kaalakiota skinned assault, sometimes even a scout. Do that in a non-BPO suit and you soon start to realise how expensive it can be... :) |

Unfortunately, I only run Caldari, so I have to try to make the suits do everything, including CQC. I've learnt the hard way that it's best to do CQC in a BPO fit.... |

Personally I receive rarely hate mail but rather "gg" or something like that.
In general all the guys who receive hate mail are the persons who are the first to run away when they are shoted, or are camping like *****. (and consequently they make a good kdr)
Same for the glitchers. If you are not in this two case, gg, you're a good player, congratulations you have the platinum trophy of DUST 514 ! :)

Not always. When you constantly kill wannabe pros (you know the kind of guys who always run in a proto stomp squad) but getting their ass kicked, especially when the other guys uses inferior gear and they tend to get really mad, since their awesome stomping skills can't help them much. It's like they have competition for the first time and can't handle the situation, which makes them really mad. Then you have the kind of guys who kick ass and admit when they get outplayed / or outsmarted /outskilled and thank you for that, since they have learned something new. All depends on the player
