You are both missing my point, and further clarifying that you are in fact a scrub. You may not like it, I may not like it, but jumpy mass drivers are here, they are within the rules, and people will and should use them. The difference between us is that I don't call someone a name for playing within the rules. They are not ruining the game. They are trying to win, which is a hell of a lot more than you do. If I had to choose between you and any other blue dot, you would be sitting on the bench, because no one who wants to win wants people with a bunch of e-honour constructs on their team. You keep making up your own rules, and still losing, should make for tons of fun in whatever game you take your toxic mindset to next.
Shut the **** up you disgusting scrub. You use the myofib mass driver combo not because you are trying to win a match but because you have **** for gungame and have to resort to an easy mode tactic to make yourself feel better about yourself.

I'm a scrub because I say the myofib massdriver combo is easy mode?
I read through this entire thread and no one mentioned anything about a scrub being someone who calls someone out for using an easy tactic instead of focusing on bettering their gungame.

Good one Summa, but I believe that falls under the "making excuses for poor performance" blanket. gungame. there's a useless metric in the context of a combined-arms first person shooter encompassing direct-fire, indirect-fire and area-of-effect weapons. I always found the insistence that anyone who did not just us a rifle of some kind and strafing being somehow lesser amusing as ****. Whenever someone tries to call me out for using (insert unfavored tactic here) I laugh, because I still won because you couldn't exploit the weaknesses of my chosen tactics and methods.
But I can shoot the jumpies out of the sky so I'm not exactly making any excuse for poor performance.
And shut your mouth about exploiting weaknesses of a scruby tactic. Scruby tactics exploit the weakness we all have which is being teamed up with blueberries who can't handle this game.
Many of us who hate scruby tactics can counter those scrubby tactics just fine but we can't offset the damage done when our blueberries are being slaughtered by a tactic that has a ridiculously high payout when you look at how little skill is involved in carrying out said scrubiness.
Many times I have run up on a jumpy armored assault with a mass driver who manages to slaughter half a dozen blueberries before I and, on average, one other person out of the ten blueberries in the vicinity are able to kill it.

No, you are focusing on what the enemy is doing that is killing you rather than what you can do better. And also, have you ever actually used the myofib + mass driver combo? It is not as easy as some people would imagine.
I used the myofib and Plasma Cannon combo before and it made me feel like a scrubby piece of ****.

There is no such thing as a "scrubby tactic". At the end of the day, it is still a tactic, not an exploit, not a scrubby tactic, just a bonafided tactic. And any tactic that helps win the game is good, because winning is what matters. Those that do their best, bring out their best gear, their best suits, or the opposite of scrubs. Those that complain about them are the scrubs.
There is a such thing as trashy players with no gungame who jump onto the easymode bandwagon in hopes of making themselves feel like they are actually good at this game and capable of accomplishing something.
What should we call these people if scrub is a word more suited for the likes of people like me?

In my experience, accusations of scrubbery usually revolve around people not playing the way the accuser thinks they should and succeeding despite his/her belief in the superior display of skill/setup/insert personal bias here. Normally "i can't win this is broken versus a player who says "I can beat it, but it's not fun, or worth the expenditure for the rewards you get." In my experience, myofibs/MD/Flaylock are easily countered by AHMG sentinels. I will admit we need a few more counters peppered here and there because some people fecking DESPISE playing sents. Having a couple counters among other classes won't ruin the game. For the people who just think jumping should not exist? I have no sympathy. Opinions are not the sole basis by which design decisions should be made. As I told one player who said "X means the game is not fun and it needs to change!" "No, just because it is not fun for YOU does not mean that the gameplay has no value. If you can provide me clear proof that a majority or even a sgnificant minority (1/4th of the player base) of people hate X I will re-evaluate it on my priority list. Until then, f*ck off."
You're kind of making the same irrational suggestion others made when they told everyone to overly dampen their dropsuits to avoid permascanning knowing damn well that doing so not only gimps your dropsuit but also drastically decreases the variety of capabilities your team has to win the match.
Telling people to switch to a Sentinel with an AHMG so they can counter a jumpy is a good idea until you kill the jumpy and then you realize that you actually have other things to do in a match in order to win but you're not able to do those things because you're now ridiculously slow and pretty much limited to point defense.
What would be your strategy if the jumpy simply decides to avoid the heavy the entire match and decides to focus on everyone that isn't a heavy with an AHMG? It's not like the Sentinel is going to have the speed necessary to consistently track a jumpy Assault and having too many people switch to a Sentinel with an AHMG is a guaranteed way to lose the match you're playing.

He said there needs to be more counters yo, and have you tried a gorilla (min) sent with kincats & AHMG? Matches a scout sprint speed last time i checked, like a scout with a giant hitbox, giant profile, and a HMG. Also, i love running my turtle sent and gorilla sent.
He just now mentioned that more counters should have been implemented yet in previous posts on this thread he was defending the myofib/mass driver combo saying there are ways to counter it...as in more than one way.
I honestly feel like the majority of the people who defend the myofib/mass driver combo are people who either use the combo themselves or are people who consistently fight at range making it much easier for them to kill the jumpy while decreasing the chances of them having to deal with the jumpy in close range.
The people who get screwed the most by the myofib/mass driver combo are those who consistently fight in CQC. Those of us who consistently fight in CQC put our ***** on the line and take a lot of risks in order to accomplish what we are supposed to yet we have to deal with irrational ******** from people whenever we mention how pathetically scrubby the myofib/mass driver combo is.

And like those people who overdampened their suits, people that use three myofibs are also gimping their suit. Trust me, I run a myofib suit once in a while and it feels like I'm made out of paper, even more so than a scout.
The only people I will accept saying that stacking myofibs gimps your suit are the people who run Caldari and some Scouts.
I have seen 700+ armor Assault Dropsuits using the jumpy/myofib combo and you would have to be a fool to think that dropsuit is gimped because of stacked myofibs.

You don't need damage mods to be effective with the Mass Driver.
The use of myofibs does not limit your ability to increase armor repair rate nor does it limit your ability to equip Cardiac Regulators.
700+ armor assaults can still leap 20+ feet into the air at a speed faster than they can move in any other direction in the game. Armor has a very negligible impact on your jump height.

Armor has a very negligible impact on your jump height. Yeah, you don't need damage mods to be effective with the Mass Driver, you need aim, because unlike other weapons (minus plasma cannon), you can't just point somewhere and it will hit, you need to estimate distance, you need to estimate the speed of the target, you need to estimate the location of the target so that you don't miss. You don't need to do that with an Assault Rifle. Yes, the use of myofibs + the combo of 700+ armor does limit how many armor repairs or cardio regs you can put on so that argument is out of the water. Not only does armor effect your speed, but it also affects jump height. I would be surprised if people with 3 myofibs and 700+ armor could even jump 10 feet, much less 20+.
Are you just typing random thoughts or do you actually believe what you are typing?
People who use the myofib/mass driver combo tend to engage enemies in CQC so they do not need to track the movement of the redberry anymore than any other person fighting in CQC with any other weapon. Also, the splash damage of the mass driver and the multiple rounds one can fire in rapid succession without having to reload provides a scenario where the user does not have to be accurate; all they have to do is spam mass driver rounds in the general vicinity of the redberry.
It's pretty obvious you haven't a clue about what you are talking about.

It's pretty obvious you haven't a clue about what you are talking about. It is also pretty obvious that you have never used a mass driver. Even when in CQC, the mass driver does not have that large of an aoe and you still need to aim (assault mass driver excepted). Also, the splash damage is negligible to everything BUT scouts, and often times it will take 5-6 shots to take out a medium frame, and more for heavies, meaning it would take 1-2 clips just to kill an enemy. Whereas using any Rifle, it would only take maybe a quarter of a clip.
I have used the mass driver before.
The moment I acquired the 'Quafe' Mass Drive i skilled operation and proficiency to level 5 and ammo capacity and rapid reload to level 3 and went to town with that thing. I stopped using it because I got more satisfaction out of using the Plasma Cannon because the Plasma Cannon requires skill whereas the Mass Driver does not.
