EVE: Online is a fun game, you should play it again. And while they did bury this game, it doesn't matter, the concept that this game brought matters. As long as the concept survives into a new game, that's alright with me.

Sooner or later, big change is going to have to come to CCP or it will be inevitable collapse of all established properties. Simply begging people to come back through what is essentially a non-offer is old hat and doesn't do much to stop the blood loss.
Who knows, maybe the New EVE: fps will save CCP! Unlikely, but here's hoping!

Fact is, there are thousands of FPS choices on the platform and their is a finite number of players interested in the genre. The game is niche enough as it is, I just don't see it pulling any kind of a population that can rival EVE.
