To be fair phoniex isn't going to be around for a long time. They said they have enough to show at fanfest.
But you and I know that means there will be maybe a tech demo and some promotional material followed by some presentation on the under lying mechanics like how new weapon creation and modifying will be streamlined, which they will promise us will mean more weapons will be available, when they never will.
By the time phoniex is in a "playable" state the PS4 will be on its last legs and PS5 will be prepping to hit the shelves.
Further more the engine will likely be outdated before they finish development and the amount of technical debt they will have to pay to keep up with the major FPS studios will be phenomenal.
Stay with your console, I won't think any less of you for it.

I think phoniex will be sh*t. IMO it's not gonna be in a playable BETA condition for a good few years, by which time I imagine the Console the OP has will likely be near it's life span.
So IMHO the OP doesn't need to PC if he doesn't want to on the account of one game that may never even come to fruition.
Though to be honest that actually sounds a lot saltier by comparison to my original. But hey ho, people enjoy trolling right?
