"We are console gamers, we dont just drop a ps controller and pickup a keyboard". Why the **** not? It makes no sense especially now that gaming platforms are so homogenous.

so let me get this straight not only is DUST being canceled, yes im upset i had an investment in the games as well but this was a ******* BETA!!! what part is hard to understand about BETA!!!.
and ya real smart lets talking **** on the PC gamers that we have forged a bond of blood with threw this game.

the way i see it there are 2 kinds of Gamers.
those who play the game, enjoy it, and dont talk ****.
and the scrub ass blueberrys who would rather only have their system and games.

PS3 Gamer, PC gamers XBOX gamers, its all the same!! we want a good game against good and as long as everyone buys in to this system war they wont make a UNIVERSAL gaming platform, 1 system every game linked to everywhere.

OP is extremely butthurt... to the point of it being definitely not understandable. He enjoys the game. Ok. I do too. But OP basically says he won't play it on PC, just because it would be on PC. That is definitely not reasonable. This is not about being angry or anything... this just lacks any logic. Especially if he likes the game so much... why not get a 300 - 400 buck PC instead of a 400 buck PS4 if he wants to play it? UE4 can scale down pretty good and runs even on older systems playable. OP isn't even thinking about that, just because "it's on PC". Also when it comes to Point & Click shooters I think Call of Duty was most popular on consoles. Not that this is part of the topic now. It depends on what kind of PC you are aiming for. You can get a decent prebuilt for around 400 bucks or something I think. It of course won't be top notch. But lets be fair: Consoles aren't top notch either. When people talk about buying a PC they mostly jump to "I need to buy the newest and best thing available!" But that's not the case. You can buy an older, cheaper model and turn down graphics. My last PC is 8 to 9 years old and I recently gave it to a friend who is now more than happy that she can play Final Fantasy 14 with it for example. And it's also able to run newer games like XCom 2 or Shadow of Mordor. Just not with the best settings of course. Also when it comes to investment: Especially as a gamer you can make up for it when it comes to buying games. Because PC games are always cheaper than console games. Problem here being the universal gaming platform is PC, as it's an open system. Whereas consoles are always using closed systems. That's why you have to worry with backwards compability and so on. Especially the newer consoles are basically just a PC running with a very restricted system. n PC? I can play basically every game I want. because running emulators is a thing. Because people can run them without any tricks and so on, as PC does not restrict you. Heck: There's a working PS3 emulator out and it can run first commercial games. What is a console? It's a PC which you can't upgrade, and can't use completely. Mostly they are only sold by making artificial exclusive games, which you could also run on a PC.
