For me I just want to feel like my time and effort spent on this game means something moving forward, even if it's not a 1:1 transfer.

Is a vet vs a vet both running officer not the equivalent of a noob vs noob in terms of knowledge and experiance? Both tiers would have balanced matches and equal chances. Keeping vets away from Noobs should be the prime priority for dust. It's because of vet that dust isn't growing. All the new players are leaving because they get stomped over and over. They should reduce the gap between low and high skilled players by reducing the effectiveness of higher ranked gear and skills.... I mean as example, when you upgrade your cores you can boost your total EHP and DMG output considerably high compared to someone without them. So instead of giving ppl the ability to get an advantage mainly through skillpoints I would suggest to reduce passive skills and increase the base stats of lower tiered gear (suits, weapons and modules). I started the forging of the objectives since they were destructible and you did not actually need to hack them to destroy them.
