Well, you're mostly right on some stuff. Jake has actually, to my knowledge, been alongside many pilots. I've dueled him a few times, twas good fun.

The next part comes down to opinion to be honest. My personal opinion is that there is no best, the best implies to me that you have no more room to improve. There's always room for improvement.

I don't normally get involved in these types of threads, seeing as the only valid opinion I'd have is towards ADS pilots. But I'm going to list some of my favorites:

As far as Python purist goes, I'd say that in this regard there are a few that jump to mind:

Sir Snugglz: Hands down, he's usually a better python than I am. He's my favorite duel in the python category
Parthok: I haven't seen him in a rail inky in.... I'm not sure if I ever have. I'd say that we're about toe to toe on that.
Demandred: Despite the amount of crap he stirs up in the WR, he's really very good. Great pilot to fly with.
Shepard Grey: From what I hear, he flies and FC's at the same time. I've done that, it's not easy.

As far as Incubus pure goes, I'd say these guys should get mention:

Shamarskii Simon: Not well known to the PC community, but if he got in PC as a rail, he'd cause quite the devastation. He's also my favorite duelist in the rail category.
White Lion: He's definitely my favorite bodyguard in PC whenever I flew with rockets.
Jamaican Kid: Highly annoying rail, and one hell of a fighter.

There are also the hybrid category, fighters that can perform both great:

Lions-Fan6888: He is probably my favorite wingman to fly with. Played with and against him many times, can attest he's hard to kill, and when we fought together, we usually went toe to toe on scores (if we were running same role).
Quasar Storm: Chilled with him once, reminds me of me, but Canadian. Amazingly annoying pilot/tanker. Wish I could've dueled him more often.
Pro Tanker: He is kind of a chode at times, but he's definitely a good fighter. In fact, one of the best combos I've seen in pilots comes with him and Parthok.

You clearly haven't watched many ADS pilots. I've seen many pilots, and while I do agree Derrith is one of the best, he is not THE best.

Down to personal opinion, I fought many pilots and Derrith in my opinion was unstoppable in a python.

Step one join fa and lay the beat down on all of them. Step two leave fa a week before they all quit. Step three bring sog and company all into tso's and talk **** in the wr till a decent amount of good players come back and then leave again. Rinse and repeat. If I had to create the best of the best I think it would look like this

Greatest Ceo- I feel it is a 3 way tie Between Djinn Kujo ChicagoCubs4ever and myself. The 3 most Dominant Corps in Dusts history TeamPlayers Ancient Exiles and 0uter.Heaven.

Cubs was able to use his position and influence to recruit some of the greatest Beta players as their respective Corps collapsed and then create a machine that dominated the first 3months of PC.

Kujo took the remains of a Powerful Corp (Hellstorm) and created perhaps the Strongest Corp to PC. They were able to recruit and build an empire housing some of the greatest talent to emerge in Uprising.

Finally 0uter.Heaven the bastard child of disgruntled mercenaries looking for a more competitive home then the Corp they were in. 0.H was formed hours before Uprising and popped out of knowhere with some of the best talent from beta. Never the best but always a threat a foundation was built that was able to create the longest lasting dominant Corp in all of dust.


On to the Real mercenaries

Best Marksmanship Kallante Shiffer (spelt wrong)
Notable Marksmanship Regnyum, OSGR Valdez, Delta Blitzkrieg, Djinn Soul, FunkMaster Whale, Arirana
These players would win a typical 1v1 fairly easily.

Best Heavy Vehicle- Shadow of War88
Notable Tankers Doc DDD, AP Grasshopper, Mr Zitro
These guys in a tank could change the field to their advantage.

Best ADS- Sir Snuggles
Notable Pilots NugruthosXIII, Derrith, White Lion, Mochi Cricket
These annoying bugs were masters of the skies and rained hell upon infantry while expertly avoiding av.

Best Scout- Djinn Maruader
Notable Scouts Myself,Moody,Lightning V, Alex XV
Sneaky Little bastards usally were never spotted and would assassinate players without being seen.

Obviously most of the people on the boards these days don't even know half the players mentioned as I come from a different generation but these players would change games with dominating presence. Most of these notable players hail from AE and TP as these were the foes I would fight daily so my Bests list is biased to NA servers and teams. There is a few Tankers that I wish I could remember to name as well as some Scouts but it has been far to long.

Very true. I mentioned Radar, and I explained why he wasn't part of this list. The cut off point for something like this always has heart breaks.

I wouldn't consider you a good FC either. A Chimp could have FC'd that team you had and still won. When MH had only 20 good players left in it, and you had command over 12 of them, it's easy to claim victory...
