Guess it's not CPM's fault at all. I mean, if anyone of them could make a huge announcement or tease they certainly would.
That said, I'm still sure that CCP policy is counterproductive - whether they're working on anything new or not. I myself am a huge fan of the game, but I don't play a match since a year ago! I know I would still be playing if there was some kind of development, or if I knew there was some kind of plan. Even just a "we have a plan".

LOL no How is the GAMEPLAY different? The only difference is HP has a value and isn't a percentage. lol did you watch the whole video? Because your reply makes it sound like you didn't.
The core gameplay is actually the same.
Different shaders, GI and HUD/GUI effects perhaps. All of those might/might not change the gameplay, and in Dust case they didn't.
Gameplay means literally "all the stuff you do while in game" or in a more accurate deffinition "anything that involves the player ingame" or simply "game experience": Hacking things, hacking other things that are more important than others, calling in tanks, shooting itself is part of the gameplay and it is pretty much the same as four years ago. Now, one may argue that adding myos superjump is actually a change in gameplay, and in my opinion it is. But that's just one of the few gameplay differences I see now.

JudgeIsABadPilot wrote:The core gameplay is not the same. Saying so implies you didn't play the closed beta, including on the weekends. Everything was different - the feel, the sounds, the installations, the MCC actually moving from one point to another, the weapons, and you didn't have people jumping around like kangaroos (before the horrible myo fib change) with shotguns and mass drivers.
Everything was much better during closed beta, and it's only gone backwards since.
But I really don't disagree with that. I only wanted to shed some light on the "gameplay" word. What I really meant is that, beside the "feeling" with the game, the core gameplay is basically the same: you have to choose what dropsuit to use, how to fit it, then you search a match, then you play the game in a certain way etc.
For example: the moving MCC don't really add anything to gameplay, it adds some kind of immersion. Sound also doesn't add anything important gameplay-wise, unless, for example, CCP decides to add a much stronger footsteps sound: this way the gameplay would change because people modify the way they play the game, paying attention not to make too much noise. This would be a slight gameplay-changer, but it still does change it.
Another drastic gameplay changer, however, would have been the closed beta "experimental" sniper rifle: it had special behaviors and bullet travel time and falloff (it was as buggy as hell, that's why we don't have it now). Needless to say, this would have changed the way snipers snipe. And if we had bullet travel time and bullet falloff on certain weapons, this would also change the gameplay drastically.
Edit:
I almost forgot, another gameplay changer has been the introduction of cloak device
