LInks are the key to this game.
If they aren't maintained in logical places, the match is over and your team will lose.
Period. |

I do. Regularly. In many matches, I'm the only one to focus on that in the first 2 minutes.
Too many people use all of their CPU for biotics, and make force projection / reinforcement a low priority because they don't see an immediate reward in WP. |

Just trying to re-focus the non-vets on understanding how they get redlined in the first 2 minutes. |

A "front line" of conflict can't be held without rapid re-deployment. |

Llamastar wrote:A few bad links can wreck a match far worse than not enough. I was in a match the other day in the turtleback ziggurat where the letter is a meat grinder from all angles, with the supply depot inside the building. The whole match is about controlling that roof. Blueberries kept dropping links on the building floor, right in the open, and there were so many of them I couldn't even tell which were my roof links. Compound that with the fact that the reds were smart enough to leave the bad links in place, so they just kept farming the spawns. Blue team lost it badly. I was raging pretty hard. lol.
That is only true if there aren't enough links out.
That is my point. |

Blues just sit up there feeling safe... Till OB and we're back at the redline
and those same blues probably aren't even paying attention to the condition of the objective, just looking for kills to protect the KDR, and could care less about winning.

I bet the CCP devs could check logs to see how the consumption of links changed at the time the myo's added jumps. I would wager a lot that the number of links sold on market dropped tremendously about a month after the myo change, and only increased that gap over time. |

Very true.
Regardless of the map, however, force projection and reinforcement can only be accomplished by links, so thinking about links all the time is critically important to winning.
I just want folks to wake up the what may be a tactical problem we face, that is a byproduct of historical module changes. |

Thereby cutting in half the amount of time it takes to redline that team. Becaue you left, and gimped an already failing team.
Let me rephrase what you just said.
"it's up to everybody else to make a winning battle I can be a lazy farmer in, so I don't have to pay attention to the objective."
Betcha he's got a great KDR, too |
