In dust 514, you buy stuff, lose it on the battlefield, and destroy other peoples stuff. What if there was something to keep track of the value of how much you destroyed versus how much you lost? Both at the end of the battle and lifetime amount. It would be especially satisfying to see that you destroyed aurum, and cost someone actual money. At least, that's what I think. What do you think?
For every kill there is a death, and for every win there is a loss.

Who knows? If CCP ever does consider porting the game over to the PC or the PS4, then we might see that happen. The more stats on the player, the better recruiters will be at understanding if a recruit legitimately worked for their KDR or if they were just padding them with scrub tactics.

In EVE, this is called ISK efficiency on killboards, displayed as a percentage (with under 50% as losing more than killing). For example: https://zkillboard.com/alliance/1354830081/ |

Why not simply transfer it over?
For every kill there is a death, and for every win there is a loss.

We are not exactly sure why it doesn't transfer over for Dust since Dust 514 and Eve Online share the same CREST API system which is used by zKillBoard. However, you can see such details for Dust as in Eve in the same killboard.
Examples: https://zkillboard.com/kill/51278989/ https://zkillboard.com/kill/50346724/ https://zkillboard.com/corporation/98022803/
However, it doesn't show us the ISK efficiency in terms of assets successfully destroyed on the ground and assets lost on the ground. Only ISK efficiency between ships destroyed and ships lost are shown.

I have always advocated the ISK efficiency model over the kdr model. Going 28/4 is easy in proto. Going 28/4 in standard gear is impressive.
However, this also makes newberrys have overinflated ISK efficiencies, since their starter fits are free. I would have both stats be tracked, so someone with a high kdr and a high ISK efficiency can be said to be a good player.
Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind.

Have a separate number for free stuff, an isk efficiency for kills without any free stuff, and the lump sum of isk destroyed with a fitting with free stuff on it, or entirely free.
For every kill there is a death, and for every win there is a loss.

Everything's worth something. A free rookie ship in EVE is still with 10k ISK on Zkill.
This number doesn't have the same impact in DUST because the fight/die/respawn mechanics in EVE are completely different. A hull or pod can exists for months or years in EVE without getting destroyed. If you deploy a suit in a DUST match, you're extremely unlikely to still have that particular copy of it at the end of the Battle.
I get the idea but it didn't transfer.

Interestingly, Zkillboard shows infantry killed by pilot Orbitals, which shows complete loadouts. |
